Everytime I try and import my only ME2 career, there are several problems with the story. For example, it says I killed the rachni queen; I didn't. There are more instances like that, but it also states some things correctly, yet it is not the case in-game, like how I saved Kaidan but they threw me Ashley at the start.
This might just be a unique situation (since google or these forums have yielded no results), but any help would be appreciated; I really would like to get started on this game. If it makes any difference, I didn't use any mods, and my ME2 copy is on Steam.
Sorry if this is a popular problem, but I didn't see anything about it in the first two pages.

Have you tried opening your ME2 save in gibbed's save editor and checking if the correct flags are set?

No, I haven't. I didn't touch that area since it said it could only be used for new games, or something like that.
I just started ME1 again today. The ME2 campaign I tried to import used the that comic book opening DLC, so I thought that might have been the problem.
