Liara because Kaidan was way too whiny in ME1. (And because she's a 1/4 krogan, of course).

Kaidan the first time = He's a "hell of a soldier" while being a good man, always doing the right thing.

Then Liara, she's a lovely character, and I love Asari.

Liara, for a few reasons. I liked her personality in ME1 a lot, reminded me of several women that I know, besides the fact she was polite and kind rather than Ashley's xenophobic tirades.

Liara because of her intelligence, passion and idealism in the first game and then the growth of her competence and confidence into other areas and abilities. Her dedication in retrieving Shepard's body and then the reconnection scenes through the last game are all very satisfying.

I find the parallels between her ME1 character and Traynor interesting.

Romanced Liara in ME1 and LoTSB, then romanced Tali and got her blown up on the suicide mission, and currently aiming to romance Diana Allers and then kick her off my ship... so yeah

Female Shepard, went for Liara in ME1, liked her naive and awkwardness... and Kaidan was boring as hell. Stayed loyal to her, thou somewhat disappointed with her change of personality.

Female Shepard, Kaidan in ME1, went for Jacob in ME2, was going to go for someone else on ME3, she just uses them and discards them XD.

Female Shepard, Kaidan on the first one, but since Garrus was finnaly available and Kaidan was a moron on ME2, went for Garrus, was going to stay with Garrus on ME3.

Female Shepard, No one, she doesnt need anyone.

Male Shepard, this dude was created solely for Tali, so he went single on ME1 and was going to go loyal in ME3.

Aw. Yeah the endings kind of put a wet blanket over the other playthroughs don't they? It hurts I know but try to think of the good times you had playing the game. Heh. And yeah Kaiden was a little dull but I really liked a few of the exchanges you have with him.

"Talk lieutenant. You have a little black rain cloud over your head."   "I'll try to keep the deck dry..." I suppose the right way to call him is realistic. Some men can be downright boring but caring at the same time. He seemed better in 3 though.

i went with Liara something about her character and her persona was awesome to me and i couldnt really see my shep with someone else loyal to Liara all the way

Liara, because my Shep was a Sentinel, a biotic and a grease monkey, while she was full-on military I felt she would spend most of her time in a support position and all the crazyness ended up forcing her to act like some kind of great leader when all she really knew how to do was buckle down and do the right thing. She loved Liara's investigative nature, her lack of experience and the fact she wasn't asking for orders, she was offering to help.

Things got problematic in ME2, Shep was out for 2 years and Liara got hard and bitter, but thankfully she came back around. When the reapers were done with, my Shep would have left the alliance. There would have still been adventure, but just for the two of us, finding things out, digging up the secrets of the universe together...

She was a complicated character, rough exterior but a tortured soul inside. I'm glad she turned out the way she did in three. She's still tough as nails, but she has calmed down a lot.

Tali because hmm she probably feels the like the closest to what i actually like IRL. In ME1 maybe not so much be the character developed soooo much over the course of the series i just kinda fell in love with it.

Tali, since she reminds me a lot of Aerie from BG 2, which also was my LI in that game. It's not incoincidence that she also references her in her dialogue.

Kaidan for my Manshep It was worth the wait. Sorry but I rarely see gay love in videogames and it felt right for ME.

I like the whole sci-fi green alien women thing, so I was totally down for Liara who was close enough despite being blue.

But then Shiala came along.

3 I had a tough decision, but Ashely was a main party member. I also really wanted to bone Traynor, the accent seduced me. Unfortunately shes a rugmucher. Good news for my fem shep though!

I considered Tali once, her love story seemed the best of them all, but I never knew what was under the mask.

Pretty much anyone that wasn't a man or Liara I could live with though.

ME1 first playthrough I was trying with Ashley but then she shot my bro Wrex for no reason. So I left her on Virimire. How did I know that trigger happy tramp wouldn't shoot me next for no reason?

Then after another male shep, I did FemShep and it was like "Kaidan? Lack of choice but I want that damned achievement this time." That FemShep was so happy to get better choices in ME2 although outside of Garrus opening up, the choices got screwed in ME3.
