In ME1 I romanced Ashley and dismissed Liara cause she was too childish.

I got an unexpected reaction in ME2 but stayed faithful.

In ME3 Ashley was still biching all the time so I was like: "Oh f*ck this is stupid" so I ended up with Liara. The character "evolved" much and became exactly my type.

I chose Liara in Mass Effect, it was either her or that unpalatable, stupid, mundane Kaiden, considering I chose to play as FemShep. Plus, she was such an intriguing character; alien, attractive, socially awkward & shy, and god those eyes are too captivating. And when she says " by the goddess ". Dude, I'm too pathetic. Cheers.

Played a Femshep first in ME 1 and thought Kaidan was a case of FRIENDZONE. So I picked Liara and after that i stayed faithful (ME2, Lair of the Shadowbroker/ME 3)

I lost all playthroughs (of one and two), recreated the first femshep I had, finished ME 1 and ME 2 with her shortly before ME 3 release and happened to encounter the end of ME 3. Thus far I could not bring myself to start a new career in ME 1.

Tali for obvious reasons. That accent, her cute personality and the mystery.

It's not pathetic at all. Garrus made me make little squee noises on occassions. I can admit it.

My first femshep fell for Thane. It was only logical since she's a paragon sole survivor/colony kid and already let Kaidan die... Who said Shep had to be happy ?

I had Ashley at first, but after she tried to kill me, I dropped her.

I liked Liara. She's...nice.

Tali, since she reminds me a lot of Aerie from BG 2, which also was my LI in that game. It's not incoincidence that she also references her in her dialogue.

This, and the fact it's just a crime to deny the Hug interrupt -> akward come on.

Yes. You just want to give her a hug.

Three playthroughs.

Sentinel (canon) - Miranda: beyond her stunning good looks, she was a woman looking for genuine love and acceptance.

Vanguard - Tali: because I couldn't romance her in ME1, but wanted something different in ME2 other than Miranda.

Infiltrator - Ashley: admittedly, that was AFTER I found out about the ME3 Ashley.

Miranda. She's the only interesting one and I just melt when I hear that voice.

Tali; she was cute in ME 1, cute in ME 2 and cute in ME 3
The whole face thing doesnt bother me as much as others. Sure, Bioware wimped out there, but i personally never really cared what she looked like (other than what you can tell from the very snug suit), the personality is what i found interesting about her. Ashley is more or less straight forward, hence a bit boring , Liara, well to be honest the whole unisex species thing weirded me out, Miranda in me 2 i just found to be incredibly annoying, Jack was an interesting alternative, but frankly Tali's better, Kelly never seemed THAT deep to me, and i think thats it.
If i was going to start a femshep in the future (due to Bioware admitting they were wrong, bowing to fanpressure and hence releasing a better ending), my guess is i would go for either Garrus or Thane. Garrus, because hes similar to Tali in that they are both a bit tragic. They try their best, but the bigger circumstances make them fail regardless, hence relatable to me.
Thane because he seems like a very deep character to me too (also a bit tragic, since hes dying), unlike Kaiden or Jacob. Well, to be fair, Kaiden is kind of deep, but also very annoying, at least in my opinion.
The whole lesbian/gay romance thing never was something i could get behind. Always thought you dont REALLY need that.

Well I picked Liara. Because she is cute, blue and my only other option was Kaiden (for femShep).

I did Kaidan on my first femshep playthrough and Liara for my slightly more renegade. Liara's pretty distant which is a bummer but that means when she's warm it's so much more special. Oh m geeky blue alien <333

Miranda.

At first I spotted her as cheat-bait, (a contrivance to get you to cheat on your absent partner) having romanced Ash in the first game. At first Miranda is obnoxious and cocky, but you grow to respect her abilities and then you start to see through the cracks and empathize with the character. As she began to change, I really started liking where a decent writer could take a character like Miranda. But alas, it didn't pan out in the 3rd game and I got barely anything.

Initially I was torn... but then came Horizon. I'm sorry Ash - you blew it. I loved the conversation with Ash in the hospital (if you romanced them both) where Shep can just tell her off for that utter display of self-centeredness. Miranda's confidence and competence was just too hard to pass up.

Also, Yvonne's voice vs Ashley's. Good grief.

in ME1 chose Ashley cause at the time I wasnt into Asari really. in ME2 and 3 chose Tali cause ya know, that accent and personality, good stuff. Going through 1 and 2 again atm and will be doing a Liara romance just to see what all the hype is about.

Liara. I picked LI by the same reason I did in real life. Bisexual, hoping for threesome. And got dissapointed that it didn't happen in ME.

At first I liked Liara, but then I found Miranda's change in character to be far more fascinating. She goes from a strictly by the book Cerberus officer to leaving the Illusive Man to side with you. That and the relationship between her and her sister is really entertaining.

Kinda been stuck on Liara since ME1, I was disapointed with her in ME2, she was very different, but LotSB saved it somewhat. Back to lovin' in 3.

I think I'd second Garrus. Other than that I just don't feel too much conection with the other options.
That said I also play mostly Femshep, and her options are somewhat limited. I don't like the non-squad options either, it's just..not enough I guess.

Picked Kaidan because...well, I wanted a hetero-romance and you don't exactly have a lot of choices in ME1. ME2, I stayed faithful in one playthrough and then went for Garrus in another. Garrus is awesome! He's so awesome that by the time it's ME3, I realized he was more like "HEY BRO! YOU'RE AWESOME! NOW LET'S GO SHOOT SOMETHING! C'MON VEGA! BRING WREX AND GRUNT WITH YA!" kind of awesome, which means I'm stuck with Kaidan.

Not that I'm complaining of course. he grew on me like no other.
