He also had no part in writing the endings.

There's a transcript of the deleted article on the fourth page, if anyone is interested on understanding what we're talking about.

The transcript will probably be edited out, but in the meanwhile please refrain from insulting other writers.

He's definitely my favourite ME writer by far.

If they make new endings, he should be in charge.

I would have liked if it was him in charge instead of Mac.

Also, he wrote Tali who was my LI. So +1 for that.

Plenty of game companies are hiring, Patrick. Go somewhere where they will appreciate your talents.

Well, BioWare, PLEASE let Patrick Weekes save your brilliant franchise.

Everything right about ME3 largely came from him.

Seriously, let him take a stab at writing the ending. Dude's got talent.

The writer of Blasto deserves not just a medal, but a yacht, the keys to the city, and a tower after their own name, with a statue on top.

It will all be done, badassfully.

Ooooh.. Maybe he has an idea on how to fix the ending.

Hand the pen to him, Bioware!

Edit: Mac Walters is a fine character writer (wrote Garrus and Wrex). However, when it comes to connecting the dots, he stumbles badly. Look at ME2 and ME3's endings. I think we need another DKarpyshn to manage the overarching storylines, checking for inconsistencies and plot holes within the bigger narrative.

And this is why it's a damned shame the entire team, from VAs to programmers, have to suffer for such a sh*t ending.

So many people put in SO MUCH love and effort to make this game amazing, and because of someone or some people, cannot be properly rewarded for it.

I support new endings, no question. It's just a shame there's no way to more directly focus on those truly responsible (in a CIVIL MANNER, mind you).

I would love to see Walters list the exact stuff he did. Same for all the other writers. Weekes is pretty amazing though.
