Question of the year : who wrote the ending ? The janitor ?

Don't insult janitors. Even if it weren't a fact that there are over 5000 janitors in the US with PhD's, that was just really disrespectful. :bandit:

He's definitely my favourite ME writer by far.

If they make new endings, he should be in charge.

I'm glad he wrote for Mordin, someone else might have gotten it wrong.

Yeah, Drew and Patrick are both incredible.

Too bad Mac isn't up to par.

Nice post, i like him. He should really help with the ending, as long as he doesn't trust the starchild, just like us.

PTSD Asari, Mordin, and the Blue Rose poet are among the most moving moments of the game I have found in my first playthrough, and it's writing like this more than anything else at all that keeps me coming back to BW games.

A heartfelt Thank You, Mr Weeks.

(Also thanks to the OP for the link).

I never heard of the Blue Rose poet...?

Also, no problem.

Fix that ending, Bioware, so that we can spend all our time discussing awesome things like this. Too much great work is being overshadowed by the damn ending.

Thank you Patrick and team for an otherwise phenomenal experience.

Charr, the krogan poet from Ilium. You can help him hook up with an asari.

Oh. I thought he was only talking about Mass Effect 3.

Be fair - Dombrow (genophage campaign, Javik, Overlord) wrote some fantastic, memorable moments. And if we knew more about who did what, we'd know who else to thank as well. I'm comfortable saying that basically all the writers did their job well.
And, hey - Walters had lead on Garrus and Wrex in ME1, apparently, so it's not like he can't write well. He has before, and probably did in parts of ME3 also.

The ending is still inexplicable and self-destructive, though.

Anyone have the full list of what he wrote? He's taken it down, apparently due to discussions like this one. :(

I went to check it out and this is what I got,

"Edit the Third: As this has become a springboard to attack other writers, this post is going away."

So good job guys, real nice work.

Patrick also completely understands what went wrong with the ending (oh, yes, Taky on Penny Arcade is Patrick). He's now involved in the EC, which makes me optimistic.

I'm not the biggest fan of Mac Walters, but the main offender with the endings is Casey Hudson.

I'm personally hoping Walters is too busy murdering Mass Effect lore with his comics to work on the EC.

I think Angry One meant that if Mac is going to inadvertently ruin anything ME-related it should be with the comics, not the EC.

The thing is, Redemption and Evolution as comics, aren't bad. But the two things I have seen about the new one , with a quarian are...er....MINDBLOWING ,as in  a snipergun bullet to the head. But perhaps is too early to judge.
