When did they advertise this fact?  When did they say flat out that, "oh, by the way, no matter what you do the ending is going to suck."

Yeah... there is intent and doing... the endings failed utterly failed. There is nothing Bittersweet about those endings..

An example of a great Bittersweeting from recent memory ... Final Fantasy X. That ending was Bittersweet.. .

These endings were just garbage.

He can't say one thing have it be advertised has that for the longest. Go on and say we took X, X and another X out. Oh yeah what I meant for the longest time was this whole bittersweet thing. Even that’s not true because that’s not the feeling it gives off total despair, and one direction that comes out of now where throwing everything done before it to the way side. On top of that its done so quickly and you get the whole buy our dlc message right after is insulting. His responses have made things worse because he’s basically insulting our intelligence.

Frankly the "Shepard must..." is BS to me, it can be one of the options -sure. But that you have to sacrifice yourself? Shouldn't that be your choice?

Good point. I think my femshep had to die. Not necessarily a sacrifice ending. I thought the best ending would have been ending it at the Anderson talk, but with my femshep just drifting off (either both of them or just my femshep) as they watched the crucible end the reapers. (Though I wouldn't have had the Crucible unless the twist was it was an eloborate Reaper trap with an epic choice on how to overcome it).
