I am about a 3rd of the way into my second playthrough. I am playing on a level 60 Vanguard on Insanity. Right now I am using the Inferno Armor, but I was wondering what the best armor is for my class?
Best armor for Vanguard on Insanity?

It depends on how you are playing it to some extent. If you are playing with heavy use of charge-nova, then I think the best armor is indeed inferno.
Shield stats aren't very useful because not only do you fill them via charge but you consume them via nova. Weapon stats are obviously only useful if you are shooting regularly. That leaves +health and + power damage/recharge.
If you are playing without nova, though, more like an ME2 vanguard, then I could see an argument for some other armors. Terminus, Collector, or just a mish mash of weapon/melee/shield/health.

I just went max. weapon damage because I ignored Nova completely.

Inferno if you like to cast. I played the endgame with Ariake armor so I could have increased shields in my passive.

Blood dragon armor is a good alternative, if you have double blast. +20% barrier increases your second nova by 20% if you get hit after the first nova - and most if the time you will, so the extra barrier kind of makes up for 10% less damage compared to inferno. Also +10% recharge and good looks are extra

Power recharge> Power Damage> weapon damage> shields > health > shield recharge > melee > headshots > ammo capacity
All Roskov is the what I wear. There is a armor set that has 30% recharge and 30% power damage (inferno?) that is a nice mix. Individual piece give you the best max'd one stat (50%) while suits give you 60% total stats.

I have been using blood Dragon or Recknor Knight (for melee damage and cool looks) but I suppose you either want to max shields or max cooldowns to play the sir-charge-alot style.

Statistically, Weapon damage or Power cooldown are probably the best. That means Hane-Kedar and/or Serrice Council
Personally, I don't care. I go with Armax Arsenal Chest (Ammo+10%) Armax Arsenal Shoulders(Hdsht.+10% WpnDMG+5) Hane-Kadar Arms (WpnDMG+10%) Hane-Kedar Legs(WpnDMG+10%). For the head, I swap Archon Visor (Power Cooldown-10%) or Kuwashii Visor (Hdsht. +10% WpnDMG+5), depending on the tone of the mission.
The reason is simply that, it looks really sexy on a femshep. Fortunately, aside from the body, it's not bad.

I would use Terminus.
It's hard to pass up the mandalorian look, and the melee, ammo, and massive shield boost would handy for insanity, especially if you're getting in close.

I just maxed out my weapon/headshot damage.

Inferno is the best overall if you plan to Charge/Nova-spam.
I'm breaking away from abusing Nova myself, so I'm using a combo of Hahne-Kedar and Rosenkov armor.

Hi all,
Did anyone tried all good armors? Some can give you 30 % to two attributes some can add 20 to three. I was thinking about the, one that adds to shields a lot? I think Terminus, other had CD reduction and power damage +30 %, Inferno I think, and Collector had +20 % health, shield and 20% faster shield regen.
For insanity I guess the shield is good option for survivability and nova damage. For extreme damage, the one with power damage and faster CD regen could rule too, Practically permanent Charges.
What do you think and like?

Can't say which is best, but I did Insanity as a soldier using Collector Armor. Doesn't do anything offensively, but death was an infrequent visitor.

With my favourite Claymore/Barrier build I need to get Charge CD down to exactly 4s (need 30% CD speed bonus), but the custom parts that give +CD speed bonus look really awful imho, so I use Inferno Armor.

I want to use inferno... but the other armour pieces just look too damn badass.

I go 30% power damage/20% weapon damage

My Soldier used Cerberus armor nonstop... such nice bonuses!
My Vanguard has not gotten any specific armor yet... I rarely use him.
Personally I would go Collector on a Vanguard,
Helps get rid of the illusion that you will get to be Prothean in MP.

I'm using Blood Dragon and it's working for me. I would definitely always use Inferno for a caster. I liked it for my adept and engineer.

I would go with weapon damage bonuses exclusively myself because I prefer playing a non-Nova vanguard. My first character was a traditional shotgun-based vanguard and I still don't feel like playing one with Nova.

I used all the Kassa armor pieces. Seemed to work well with replenishing my shields after nova'ing.

N7 armor and get all the Serrice armor pieces. You're pretty much immune using your powers so take advantage of it and deal as much damage as you can.
I also went with the blue visor (Looks like EDIs) for a little added shield strength while wearing something not horrible looking.

My vanguard will use mnemonic visor + rosenkov (chest, shoulder), serrice for arms and hahne kedar for legs. I think this build will be a balanced one. I mean power recharge speed (25%) + power damage (15%) and weapon damage (10%). If you dont want the weapon damage bonus you can replace hahne kedar to ariake for melee boost. As a matter of fact I cant decide wich one I will use.

Rosenkov. Being able to drop power recharge times is key. If you can charge, Nova twice, then charge again, your shields stay healthy and you deal damage like there's no tomorrow.
