Can I use DLC on another account in my PS3?

 Heya all .... been wonderin can I use my DLC on another user in my PS3?? Lets say it has another PSN ID as well....the DLC stays in our PS3 harddrive?Like for example DLC on Xbox 360 can be used on other accounts besides the one that downloaded it (in the same hardrive tho).

Also for those users that had to make an new account because they imported the game from another region/country ..... can you use the DLC on your local accounts as well , or only when you use the created account? I hope my questions are clear ^_^


Well... finally (this part is BIOWARE) any word on DLC being available in the Mexican PSN??? Because it kinda blows not being able to play my Dragon Age with all the candies :(

Hey hrotsurz,

just thought I would share my experience with you real quick! I bought the BLUS (US) version here in Germany, which included codes for the Shale addon, as well as for the Blood Dragon Armor. After signing into my US PSN account, I was able to successfully redeem both addon and armor. So far no problem...

I then switched back into my German PSN ID - which I use primarily for gaming, since all of my trophies and friends are on there. Once the main menu options show up, I can navigate to the download area, where it will state that both items were "downloaded". The result being: the quest for Shale will show up in my quest log as promised. As for the armor though - nowhere to be found...

Also, I discovered that the player profiles on this website won't receive any updates when signed in with the non-US account. I have never had a problem with that so far. I have tons of US imports, including many EA games. They will all connect to the US servers and archive achievements just fine, while I am on my German ID . My EA/Bio account is linked to my German PSN account, both sharing the same email address. When I use the my US PSN account, my chars will get uploaded to this site within a couple of hours (my US Account is NOT even linked to the EA/Bio account email-wise!). I have played for a couple of hours on the German account now. Had several save games piled up... still, no updates -.-

Now don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about the DLCs per se. I do understand why DLCs are region encoded. However, it's obvious that Bio/EA have created a huge mess with this game, yet are too afraid (or too ignorant?) to take the blame! Why isn't there a centralized infrastructure, free of regional restrictions? Is it really that hard to run a centralized "player profile" page for everyone out there? Where are the bonus items that we paid for? Why do threads on the forums have to get pushed for days before someone in charge throws out a standard line of "Contact EA support as they have instructions to provide you with a solution."?

Thanks bashuaojia ... I have created an US accaunt and all seems to work fine now ... to bad I already lost my exclusive items of the CE tho...... but heck 2 out of 3 is better than nothing ;)

This is my question as well.  I am in the US, so both accounts are US accounts.  I dl'ed the DLC on one account, but the other account cannot access it -- is it designed to only work for one account on the PS3, or is this an error I should ask Bioware about?

so... just kidding. sI had purchased the dlc but never installed it. fixed now, accessible on all account
