I agree with all his points, very well thought out opinions. I also want a happy ending, and I don't get why we can't have 1. I mean there are supposed to be 16 endings, why the hell can't 1 be happy? We should have had sad ending, happy ending, bittersweet ending, and everything in between.

Absolutely perfect. The only thing that saddens me is how sad HE sounds.

I don't think people are considering just how insidious the synthesis ending is.

It's a damaging idea for society. Even in a science-fiction setting, the notion that the only way to get along is for everyone to be the same.

It's borderline racism. Seriously, no hyperbole. It's evil thinking.

Definitely, and Bioware need to be called out on it. Rewriting every living being in the galaxy to conform to this stupid god child's idea of perfection is probably the most evil idea I have ever seen in a game. Totalitarianism on such a scale dwarfs even the reapers themselves...and Shepard does it willingly (if you pick the green explosions).

These endings are not just bad, they are morally repugnant.

Seriously, Bioware, did it not occur to you that we might want an ending where...you know...we win? As Joe said, it would have been better to just sit and watch the victory fleet go down fighting. At least there would have been honor in that.

Very well done. It's sad that this isn't an exhaustive list, but that would take hours.

Loved the facepalm montage at the end. :)

Remember to not only "like" this but add it to favourites and even click subscribe and leave it subscribed for a week or so. These actions creates gravity around this video and makes it pop up on more sugestions and more frontpages. As little as 1000 favourites can make a huge difference in many regions.

I feel he used a lot of OUR work, but he put it together in an extremely satisfying way.

I love you Angry Joe! Stay Angry!

Angry Joe, you have spoken truly. And surprisingly calmly, too. Wow.

Good summary, he even addresses some of the counterpoints. He hits the nail on many issues. Also doesn't fall into his Angry Joe persona as much. He is more sincere with his tone. I think it is appropriate he uses a more mellow and saddened tone for this list. Almost like, saying let's talk seriously here.

He pretty much summarizes everything we don't like about the endings in a nice video with the proper visuals/evidence to back it up.

Also @masseffect twitter answered me back when I tweeted to them the video:
"Thanks for the video. We've reported this and we appreciate your feedback! :D"

I have great respect for Joe. He's not a tool. He cogently points out why the ending of Mass Effect 3 is not worthy. And it's not worthy. If I had seen it before I bought it, I wouldn't have bought it.

The man handled it in a calm and anayalitical way. If that makes him a tool then I'd hate ot hear what you'd consider anyone else who hated the endings.

Bioware is saying that the best result is to forcibly turn everyone into cyborgs...

I will bring peace to the Galaxy. Everlasting peace. And unity. And uniformity. you need not fear. synthesis will remove fear. synthesis will remove sex,
and class, and colour, and creed. You will become identical. You will
become like us.
