Good vid. Touches on many valid pointes that the majority of players have with the endings. Majority, yes I finally said it. I see almost no discussion anywhere about how good the endings were with any valid reasoning compared to the innumerable voices condemning it.

We can't take on faith that BioWare has a super secret ending planned or super secret subltle intentions (because ending the game on a hallucination is also a betrayal of, well, everything in Mass Effect).

I, too, like the indoctrination theory, but the above is spot on. At present we are forced to take the current ending as all there is.

It would have been so much cooler if the crucible didn't end up working and the fleet end up killing many reapers anyway and they all retreated back into the void or something like that.

I love this video. I also love the idea of the ending as a parallel of the ME2 suicide mission, except in space and on Earth, where you get to pick which assets take on which roles, then watch the battle pan out in different cutscenes.

It could have been so so much better...

What's worse is that the star child was in the leaked copy of the script, so clearly they had been working on it for al ong time.
