What makes you think that?

Luigi is just spouting hate on the internet. He doesn't need logic or reason.

Agreed, it's distracting to say the least. I think he was trying to sound professional but it just comes off as scripted and lifeless. He's ranting about having a lack of emotion essentially, and he himself sounds emotionless mostly. It's counter-productive.

Honestly I've never heard of the guy until right now, but 1 or 2 of the points went over items that I had not considered. otherwise most of it was a rehash of these forums and the gamefront article.

The best explination I've found so far, that takes a step back and analyzies it from purely a narative perspective is a rather long essay I found lurking around here
http://www.themetaga...oblem-with.html
It concentrates on why people feel the way they do and what makes a good story rather than acutal details or points on the ending.

He's done another video with a similar tone, it was meant to make him sound like he's completely dissapointed in what he's talking about.

I want to say it was Dragon Age 2, but I can't say for certain, but I do remember him talking about why he used that tone in another video from a year or two back.

Usually he sounds much more...enthusiastic about what he does.

Those of you complaining that he rehashes what we have been saying... seriously?

A pretty popular reviewer puts all our points, images, and thoughts (including a few most HADN'T thought of) into a well-presented video, that DOESN'T require pouring over the forums, and people complain its stuff we already have talked about?

Damn. I don't even have words for that. Its just silly.

Agreed, he's making it easier to find all of these issues - otherwise you'd have to dig through thousands of posts to find those images and the points he made. Not fun if you're new to the movement.

While I don't doubt that it will help people find the information easier, I still doubt his intentions with this.
Plus, you can't blame people for simply not liking his content. Even if you do agree with some of his points.

What makes you think that?

Because he always has been.

It is in his name "angry." Of course he would take the opportunity to get in on the action and debate about the ending x_x

Hell, most of you just like him because he dislikes the ending. He actually thought that making a "fog of war" a part of scanning a planet would have made the process in ME2 more interesting.

Dude is an idiot.

Angry Joe is great, but when I disagree with him, I disagree with him fully. Like his review on Risen, a great game, but his judges it on the console port for the XBOX360 without looking at the PC version first. He didn't even acknowladge the PC version. (His complaints were all about bugs.)

I'm guessing you've just disagreed wtih him in the past and are now saying things without basis to emphasize your dislike of him.

It's fine. Plenty of people do that in plenty of situations, especially on the internet. It's expected.

He reviews games. Of course he is going to get a ton of money from the more noticable releases. He's done reviews for games that are barely on the radar too. It's not just 'the most popular' games.

And so what if he makes money? We all have to make a living some how :)

I don't always agree with Angry Joe, but when I do, we're both angry.

Angry Joe has made an ass of himself in the past in the spotlight of the gaming industry. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people consider him a joke.

I'm currious: What has he done?
(Not disagreeing with you, I just want to know what he's done)

Pretty sure he made himself seem like a bit of an idiot when he ****ed about the VGA's and the guy in charge of them.

Can't think of anything else though.

That's one pretty big moment.

Pretty much tried to bumrush the director of the VGAs, but didn't have any questions prepared.
He then tried to play it off by blaming the guy from the VGAs for making him look like an idiot.  In truth, it was his own fault. A literal sh*tstorm insued.

Yeah, that mishap will be a thorn on his backside for years to come. Although lets face it, Geoff did act like an ass then but Joe still did screw up quite a bit by making that video... :?

Why is that idiotic? It would have shown you which part of the planet you already scanned.

Not discounting the rest at all, but Number 10 is what I've been saying too. Synergy is the worst of the worst ending, it completely contradicts absolutely everything the series stands for.

Indeed. I really doubt he really meant "fog of war" as something to cover anything.

I'm pretty sure what he said in the review was that the planet could have a layer of fog at first that would dissapear as you scanned. Which would show you what you had and hadn't scanned already, which yeah would have made scanning much less time consuming. I agree with that and I'm one of the freaks who actually enjoyed planet scanning.

I've seen plenty of videos where "Angry" Joe wasn't angry at all, it's just his general persona. If there's something good to say about a game he's going to say it.

I don't think so because everything that he talks it's pretty much what we, true fans of the saga, want to say.

The game, in my opnion is 99/100 before the reaper hits Shepard.

after that, if the Indoctrination was correct, and probably is, the gamescore maintains at 99/100... what make us wait for the conclusion of the trilogy.

Yeah I'd say his review was spot on, pointed out things I didn't even know I was angry about and at the end of his review made me thing of the franchise as a whole. Not to mentions if this one ends up displeasing it can always be a stepping stone for future products.

Can understand being a skeptic about him, but an idiot because of the scanning thing? nah I'd even be fine if he was a spokesperson for this hole ending fiasco
