My best dreams involve people quoted in first 35 seconds being forced to explain themselves.

The relays do break up in control, but the explosion is curiously omitted.
Though we do see the galaxy map explosions. So lazy/bad cg could be a factor.
Which again doesn't excuse anything.

I do not want a happy ending BS

So if we don't like ME3's current ending that means we want a bull**** sunshine and rainbows ending?

As Joe said, why NOT have a happy ending?  It's my main reason for joining the chorus here.  Plenty of polls show how a very large portion do, too.

Thinking Angry Joe is getting burnt out when it comes to dealing with gaming recently. Went on quite a rant over Street Fighter X Tekken over locked content on disc being called a DLC. It seems Capcom is taking quite a bit of heat.

Yep that hits the nail on the head. Just tweeted my feedback using that to explain why i have such a big problem with the ending.

This has got to be one of the best videos yet. Absolutely excellent. Hey bioware, do you get why we are perhaps angry and upset now?????

I imagine that's just the wave hiting every system and taking control of them. The kick in the balls is the Normandy Scene.

This guy did a good job in making many points clarified about why the ME3 endings were crap.

This video makes me angry. Specifically because it's right.

I hope Bioware have a internet connection in that bunker they are living in, they really need to see this.

I chose control, and I'm almost positive the relays exploded.

It is the only ending where the Citadel itself doesn't explode though, if I'm understanding correctly.

Even if the relays exploded "safetly" it doesn't help the starving quarians and turians.

"Why the f*** not a happy ending" indeed!

The rest of the ideas he points out are also spot on.

That wasn't my point. It looks like Costin is saying people ONLY want an ending were Shepard lives, saves the galaxy, all races are peaceful with each other and Shepard gets married. I am not opposed to an ending where you sacrifice millions or Shepard dies but Bioware did a bad job still imo.

Look at the end of Deus Ex 1 can join the Illuminati, destroy the world network or Merge with the Helios AI but the game was built up around that from the very beginning. Mass Effect was not it just takes a sudden shift.

his 20 minutes were better spent IMO, than the 20 minutes I scratched my quads trying to figure out what the eff shiny boy god child was talking about...

No, the relays start to explode in Control, but it cuts away literally the very second they start to break up. Normandy also suffers less "damage" because of the cut. Weak sauce.

this is one of the few videos where he is not angry, and that's because he is full serious on this one, if he was being all angry people would have said that he is just doing that because of his name or "angry Joe is being angry? what a surprise!"

I enjoy his character, but I'm glad he went very somber with this one.

I confused myself, thinking it was the top ten worst plotholes. Then I reread the title of the video and facepalmed at myself. (I have the flu. It's explainable.)

No, but them not being destroyed in Control and only in Control helps them.

From where I am standing it sure looks like people only want a happy ending. I know this is not the case for everyone, but the vast majority does feel like this.

Great video. I'll be sure to spread the word about it!

What ever the ending are trying to show us ME3, for me, ended when Shepard got hit by the reaper beam. Everything that happens after that is just Shepards dying brain creating hallucinations before he/she draws his/her final breath. (And if you do good enough you even get to see Shepard draw his/her final breath). At least that explains what his/her body is doing in the London rubble.

Anyway I'd rather leave things open like that in my headcanon then giving in to the space magic god child mumbo jumbo bullcrap BW is trying to feed us with.
