Thats my point. He onky feeds one view. He shows only the clips that support his claims. Those geth primes are one of the endings to that story. Not to mention how you can end the race with that last "meaingless choice" in the game or let the Geth live.

P.S.
If you do go back to page 2 or 3. I do agree with some of those faults of the ending.

But of course he would show that scene! He's trying to say that the Catalyst's point of view is not law. That the future need not be as bleak and definite as the Catalyst makes it out to be. Sure, what the Catalyst says might happen, but then again it might not, what really invalidates his choices.

exactly my thoughts as well why i hate the ending(s) so much. non of my shepards would give in to this child. hell, not even my shepard with my decisions would agree to that crap. i would have told the child to F off.

Shepard was so passive, so ....unquestioning of the child- totally unlike him.

Awesome. I'm glad the guy actually thought this **** out and didn't yell at the camera.

How is this not closure? Did you expect Shepard to have a 1 on 1 goodbye with every character in the game?

I love this video. He voices every problem I have with the ending. I hope Bioware sees this and addresses it.

Perfect representation of many of the reasons why everyone is so dissappointed with the ending.

Someone should post a link of this to Jessica Merizan's twitter. She would make sure Bioware sees it.

I know, that's why I admit it might devolve into synthetics ending all organic life in the universe but, then again, it might not.

I agree with all of the OP points. The ending of ME3 is like walking down a beautiful road on a gorgeous day and while your enjoying the view you run into a random pole that knocks you on your ass; resulting in perminate brain damage.

that's....pretty much why people feel how they do about this.

the concepts are fine, its just not done the way we NEEDED.

The conclusion to act 1 on Tuchunka was AMAZING and built upon past choices in a cool way
The conclusion to act 2 on Rannoch was OFF THE WALL AMAZING and built upon past choices in a way that blew your mind EVEN HARDER (so harder)
The conclusion to act 3 on the Citadel was weird and didn't really build off of previous decisions in the other two games. It was cool but it didnt really end in a way that this game should have for people.

And thats a big thing about the ending. Was the child coming from the Quarins pont of view? Even with the best outcome Tali still states " I would of killed them all with out a second thought"

ME1: Geth and the "Machine Gods" are coming to wipe out life as we would know it. In ME1 the reapers are nothing but the Synthetic master race makeing everything like them

ME2: We find out the reapers are more then machine. They are a comibnation of organic and machine.

Its too late. Iwll kkeep thisthread open

With Tuchanka and Rannok so well done, one has to wonder why the final act was so different. It's not like Bioware didn't get it - they knew how to end it the way we were expecting it to end, which is why I still think that there is more to the ending that meets the eye, and I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of ME3.

Until then, I will hold the line.

Apparently, AngryJoe is mad about not being able to register on the BSN to discuss a game, not sure if that game is TOR or ME3 though.

I really dont know. I had my BSN accout for a few years before I made my SWoTR and when I made that SWoToR password it changed my BSN password.
So I am not sure what hes ranting about.

Yes Joe why should you need to register your game to engage in a discussion about it? Wait are we not doing that right here?

Joe hits most of the main points & does it pretty well. I'm actually in favor of his 'lower-key' tone. Seems like he missed a few 'bleeps' on the profanity though. In any event, those dev quotes he leads with are pretty damming stuff.

I have yet to play the game because of the face import problem, but I figured I heard enough about the ending not to be spoiled by this video. "Good news" it didn't, I knew enough not to be spoiled (it's not exactly a good news because it means that the ending that was supposed to reflect all our choices and decisions in 3 games can be summed in a few sentences), and bad news is I'm appaled by what I have seen here (the crosscade video montage of the 6 different ending cutscene is especially dismaying).

It's disheartening to say the least.

We had roughly the same playthrough, made the same choices and were forced into the same ending (synthesis) by the "god child". I agree with trhe review 100%
