Hey fellow Aussies, good news !

Got a call from EB Glenelg in SA a few minutes ago that my DA:O CE is ready to pick up! I had a feeling it would come out today rather than Thursday. I asked the guy on the phone why it was out early and was told 'the game came in earlier today, and there's no street date, so the game is ready to pick up'. No street date? Sounds a bit odd to me. I'll try and get the full story when a pick it up soon. Yay, so happy! Only bad news is, at least with my store, the Prima strat-guide isn't in yet - another few days maybe for that one.

So yay, hopeflly the other stores will follow suit and you'll get your call too today !

I just spoke to EB here in Melbourne. They said they are expecting to get deliveries of the game today but Melbourne Cup Day might mean that they don't get it until tomorrow. No mention of it not going on sale until Thursday.

Zomg thank you for this, I just rang up my local EB and said they got it in an hour ago and can sell it!!!!

I unfortunately have exams so waiting for my preorder coming in the mail on Thursday suits me better anyway. Instead I just sit here and anguish over the forums and read spoilers. And resist the urge to check out my local EB.

If you like getting games early, you might be better off not ratting the shops out to the people that can punish them for doing so.

EB actually rang me at about 12ish just after they got word they were allowed to sell it, I missed the call thinking it was for something else I just idly called them back... low and behold, it was for my DAO CE. About to leave work and pick it up. Yay.

Yup, just got back from EB Games in Geelong with my copy, which was good, because i was rather bored - till I got the call

EB Games in Hay Street, Perth, just told me that they have it for sale now (1.30pm, Tuesday).



When I asked if that meant that they had broken the street date, they said that they were told by the distributor that they could sell it as soon as they received it (making the much discussed street date issue a joke !)

My pre-order from game just shipped 2 days early also, shouldn't have gone to EB you silly people CE was only $99 from GAME, it was $129 from EB, hehe

I called up EB Games Hurstville(NSW) to ask if they were gonna have a midnight launch tomorrow as i expected the game to be released on the 5th. The staff told me it was out today and you can come get your CE copy today!

I was shocked, excited and sad at the same time. Shocked and excited that it got released today but sad because i gotta study for my Physics HSC exam tomorrow. But I had originally planned to get it on the 5th so it's win for me either way. Way to go EB! Cheers!
