For my 1P Vanguard, which is recommended for the last power evolution for Incendiary Ammo?  What exactly does the "intermittent explosion" thing do?  Does it act as a Source for a combo?

Or should I just stick with the damage/armor effectiveness boost?

Intermittent explosion (explosive burst) evolution seems to proc on about 1/3 of the shots. It will cause a fixed damage aoe effect. The base damage is ~100 points, but it is affected by +power damage armor and skills.

I would recommend it if you use rapid fire weapons, but I don't know if it is worthwhile for slow heavy-hitting weapons.
