Besides making moar money, gimme a reason why. A reason why besides saying it "sucked" cause that is a matter of preference, and preferences are not fact.

Because in the end, it is their franchise and they can do what they want with it. The haters aren't entitled to anything, nor should they recieve one based off the childish ways they are acting. It is sad to see a group of people so butthurt over a videogame. Seriously what ever happened to getting a job and moving out of mother's basement.

Of course I speak in broad generalizations, but that said Bioware owes you nothing.

You mean aside from all of the promises Bioware made before launch, but never held through with?

It's true Bioware owes us nothing. Nor do we owe them anything, including the courtesy of ever buying anything of theirs again. The choice and analysis is of course up to them, but we may still speak about it.

EA is the one that's going to decide what Bioware is going to do.  That's what happens when you decide to lose your independence for a greater cash resource.

I agree with you OP,but was it necessary to create another thread about this?

Just counter every hold the line you see with end of the line.

You know what I think? I think BSN is filled with people who love to b*tch. It's like a sport for them.

Maybe if they b*tch enough, they'll get their way. Good to see we've all reverted back to the way we were when we were 4. I missed naptime.

BioWare isn't obliged to cater to anyone, true. But, if they want to continue receiving "leap of faith" monies from people who pre-order their games without waiting for reviews or buying the games new instead of buying a used copy, they should at least choose to invest their assets in the type of material which will keep people coming back.

They owe us what they promised us. If they fail to deliver, its either money back or a product that lives up to what was promised. That simple. If they refuse which is their right, we have every right to withhold any further business and cancell what we might have of business in other franchises. Which is what people are doing .

Business 101. Capitalism. It works.

Um, why? Why are you even participating in this? If you like the ending, you have every reason to not buy whatever fixing of it they do. You have no stake in this whatsoever, unless you're a plant trying to divide and conquer.

They shouldn't make ending DLC... they should fulfill their promises about what the ending was going to be with a patch... Something we don't have to pay for... Something to lessen the pain of the lies and false advertising.

Because at some point in the future they will want to sell games. Ever. And for that, someone has to buy them.

Bioware isn't being forced to do anything. There isn't any gun being put to their heads. We're asking for a new ending and a lot of people are even willing to pay for it. People hate the endings so much, they're lucky their fans even love this franchise enough to let them make up for it instead of just walking away and never buying their products again.

Why shouldn't he participate? Because he disagrees with you?

Because I find this demands disgusting?

Because their credibility as developers will be shattered afterwards in light of the false promises made over the last 5 years, that's why.

Some opinions are better than others. If you like ****ty endings and ridiculous logic, great. You'll love ME3 and Christianity.

Bioware isn't obligated to do anything, but if they value their business, then they'll comply with the fans that have stood by them and the Mass Effect series for five years. However, instead of directly acknowledging the issue and announcing an ending fixing DLC (which many of us are willing to pay for) they keep side-stepping us with statements that don't tell us anything we don't already know and special events like N7 Weekend. If Bioware doesn't make one, they risk losing their consumer base and their name may very well be permanently stained in the eyes of Mass Effect fans, including myself.

Really? Oh well. Good luck on finding a rallying cry that makes sense.

Why shouldn't he participate? Because he disagrees with you?

Oh, good grief. Look, I know TIM got annoyed at you for playing with me, but I'm sure he'll understand if you apologize well enough. You don't need to keep following me around.

This video will explain to you why in a rather calm, reasonable manner:

Spoiler warning, though, so watch out.

This. After what has happened with Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3, it's sad to say that Dragon Age 3 could go through the same thing. No one wants that, so they won't be interested in such.

Why NOT make a ending DLC? I am willing to pay for it, and after that day one DLC trick, it looks like they love money.

What promises did Bioware break again? It can't be too hard to actually name a few and back up your claims.
