Even with the poll favoring my opinion at this moment, i don't think IGN could be considered a neutral party in this matter.
If you look at IGN's first reactions on fans not liking the ending, they were insulting.
And than there's that "jessica chobot" thing.

As it stands the majority of voters dislike the ending. Truly surprised /sarcasm.
But honestly if IGN wants to run this don't complain.
To me this seems like an indicator that they might be sending feelers out to reconsider there postion.
