Call me cynical, but this could just be them preparing for an 'entitled gamer' article. There hasn't been too much in the way of open minded journalism from the usual sites (shock).
they can spin it however they want. The FACT would be people who voted in numerous polls want a change to the ending. If people that liked it didn't bother to vote, then unfortunately they don't get a say.

Gonna be hard to spin the fact that on their *own* poll, people hated it by a large majority.

What are they going use as a title?
"It turns out our own fans are whiny entitled brats"
Or maybe:
"Our fans are everything that's wrong with gamers"
Edit: there may be some truth to that second one.... :innocent:

nah, I can see it already "so we prepard a poll, that was initially 20 to 18 in favor of the ending... then the fanatics swarmed in, totally derailing the poll. I mean, when have we ever gotten a 5000 vote poll? This is another sign that they need a real life."

Internet polls are unreliable, as you can see from our OWN poll which produced bad results.
Besides... not enough people voted. There's TONS of happy customers who didn't vote... If you didn't vote, you LIKE it...
Therefore, the ending was good, you're all entitled, shut up.

vote if you haven't, doesn't matter if you liked it or not! http://tiny.cc/fp2dbw
if you don't voice your opinion, you will never be heard! Then we're just left with IGN saying everything!

Regardless of what you think of IGN any data gathering independant of the Bioware forums can only be a good thing. Get voting people!
THIS! It needs to show in their polls the same difference in people's dislikes as our polls here in BSN.

Anything positive they say can be seen as a result of "choboting" the Normandy.
