They're probably hoping after calling everyone who hates it whiny entitled brats they can produce a poll where the majority like it so they can say "SEE!! Told you it was a vocal minority!"

Doesn't seem to be going so well so far.

After seeing Mr. Moriarty's video, I really hope they eat humble pie from this poll.

My favourite part on his video was when he went on about the cost of games. He stated a Genesis game he had as a kid cost $100US and ME3 is $60US he says gaming is cheaper than ever. I said to him on YouTube and Twitter to come to Australia and walk through our gaming shops with brand new games priced at $100-$120AU for standard edition games and $130+ for collectors editions Preowned games in an EB Games store are priced not even $10 lower than the cost to buy it newer in some case a preowned game costs more. About 13 years ago I got a N64 for my 10th birthday and most games were $50 same with PS1 then out comes PS2, Xbox and Gamecube with games priced at $100.

I voted but as I said before I won't take what IGN say at face value because of Chobot being in the game. They declared she woun't be taking part in any reviews so it wouldn't be biased but then they should have stayed away too because no one will rip on a game their friend/coworker is involved in.

Voted.
Right now:
11,78% - Liked the ending
61,51% - Didn't like the ending
26,71% - Still playing

It's still only ~7800 voters, we need approximately 16000 voters to have a test sample for those 890000 customers who bought the game on launch day ( http://www.joystiq.c...sold-in-na-swt/ )

Kinda interested to see if this changes their public opinion or not...probably not, but I can hope can't I? XD

Also, is anyone else kinda paranoid that they may use the 'did not finish' option to their advantage. Instead of "80% of those who finished ME3 disliked the ending," it could be spun as "~57% disliked the ending". Still rather damning, but a ~20% gap is quite large. If they spin it that way they may be able to, falsely, requote the polarizing statement =/

Luckily you can alter your vote at a later date, if they keep the Poll open for a few days alot of those havent finished votes will turn into "nope"

Looks pretty normal to how these polls are going. 15-25% either like, don't care, are are apathetic toward the ending.

So how will IGN spin this poll to make it still look like most people loved the ending?

Probably make up some contrived story about how the "entitled brats" banded to gether and sabotaged the poll.
Add or subtract to that theory however you wish.

Or they may just remove it when the wind doesn't blow in their favor. Wouldn't be the first poll pulled becuase of something like that.

I suggest everyone get a Print Screen of the page, at the very least once.
So we have proof of the disperity between Yes!s and Nope!s.
That way they can't alter the data and claim most people like it anyway.
As we will have proof, at least of the numbers at the time of the Print Screen.
