Now I'm concerned that IGN will lump those who haven't played it with those who enjoyed the ending and say "oh look, only ~50% disliked the ending!"

I mean, why create a poll asking people about the ending and then have those who haven't even played it vote? Shouldn't it just be "yes, I liked the ending." and "no, I didn't likte it"...

Maybe I missed something in statistics 101...

Even if they do, it doesn't look good to say that those who disliked the ending are *only* a majority.

Somebody needs to printscreen the graph at regular intervals so IGN cannot claim that we are the minority on THEIR OWN POLL if they decide to pull a fast one and combine the "Like" and "Haven't finished" options into one category.

That was excatly why I said earlier. Glad I'm not the only person that thinks so.

I suggest everyone get a Print Screen of the page, at the very least once.
So we have proof of the disperity between Yes!s and Nope!s.
That way they can't alter the data and claim most people like it anyway.
As we will have proof, at least of the numbers at the time of the Print Screen.

Right. Though they can always try to pull the "We are the smart & enlighted minority!" card Image IPB

Then we can just pull the "then explain all the plot holes in detail for us "unenlighted" majority" card.
So far I haven't seen someone able to convinvingly plug one let alone all of them.
Every close attempt has only lead to the creation of more plot holes.

It doesn't matter what card they pull since the purpose of a poll is to look at the numbers. It would be like a President losing an election just to be given the presidency anyway because "His voters must have been smarter just because!".

85% of finished voted they didn't like the ending.
even if you add in the unfinished votes, it's coming out at 64% unhappy.

I don't know if I should feel vindicated, or just sad.

Sad for IGN? Why? They wanted proof. There it is.
Not the proof they wanted. But they did ask for it.

I suppose it is sad in a pathetic sort of way.

It's important to note people who click I haven't finished yet can't go back and give a verdict either way when they have.... a sublty devious way of skewing the result.

scratch that, they can. was just my fb page playing silly buggers.

More than 85% of people who have finished don't like it. That's about as close to "universally hated" as you can get. For comparison, congress only has an 82% disapproval rating.

No: 5,757
Haven't finished it yet: 2192

Wow.  If that rate of growth continues, it will be amazing to see what it is like in the morning when I wake up.  Anyhow, I am heading off to bed.  Please try to keep this page up if you can so that people will continue to vote.

LOL!  I love that pic.  And as to why bother, its really a matter of using their own poll against them so that they can't say "Hey, look, those people who don't like the ending are just small percentage".  That's my thought anyhow.

This. Every time I hear "IGN" I get flashbacks to a deadpan fourth-wall breaking Allers 'news report'.

haha
but seriously insulting IGN won't get us anywhere. Pointing out their mistakes make them look foolish enough.

Yeah more proof that we "passionate fans" are not a minority. That and honestly you really don't need to be one to know that the ending doesn't work on so many levels.
