That is what angers me most about the ending. They speak about artistic integrity and blatantly rip of an image found on google. It's not even altered or changed in a way that one could consider the original image as mere inspiration. It is simply ripped off, nothing more and nothing less.

I found out about Wintersun like 2 months ago and I listened to a few songs.I forgot about the album cover.And now,I look at it...and see Casey Hudson's tweet...and the song lyrics...

Okay, I can understand borrowing some ideas from other media/entertainment, but this is a little too coincidental and obvious.

Not really. It is a beautiful picture and if they want to use it in their game because it inspires them AND it is what they are going for then then power to them. It was a cinematic in the game as well. So they had to redesign it from scratch and add their own theme to it. It was far from lazy.

Again it would have to be remade completely from scratch for it to be in the game. It was far from lazily done and it does contain many differences from the normal pic. It is fine to use it. It is a beautiful pic and if it fits with what they were going for then hey, go for it.

Look at the picture posted in the OP. 

Then look at the picture in the video, and the different colors on screen. 

Then look at the date: 06/06/2011
And now look at the stargazer scene, notice the familarity in the pictures?
