Yes.

Seriously. Charge me $50. Just don't let it end like this. It's insane.

You arent going to get it if you dont pay for it. This is Biowares fault, but they wont do it for free.

It would depend on the quality of the ending. i bought the CE because i wanted to show my support for such a great game franchise. In return they produced the absolutely worst possible ending they could have imagined for this franchise. I already rewarded them for failure, I'm not inclined to do so again.

 Yes, I would.

Regardless of whether their ending should have been better to begin with, expanding/rewriting and all the prodcution that goes into an ending DLC would practically require us to pay for it... if we expect them to take a massive hit from giving us what we want, we'll never get it.

That being said, there are VERY few games I would ever considering buying DLC, let alone ending DLC, for.  It speaks to the caliber of the game and the series that I would do this.

Sadly yes ): It sets a bad precedent that if you have a loyal fanbase you can ship out a game that has a terrible ending or sub standard one. And charge them extra for your "good" ending. But I need the closure. I just need to be able to play ME again, I really wanted to do a second and even a third play through but I can't as is...it is sadly too painful.

Though as for cost, 10$ is too much for just an ending sequence. It better have some other things non-multiplayer related. I honestly don't want DLC for single player mixed with multiplayer in one package because I only play multiplayer for the EMS in game.

Sympathize with this; I also bought the CE.  But the ME series is such a lovely, epic vid game, I just can't bear the thought of it so horribly disfigured by that bloody razor of an ending.  I guess for me if a DLC ending would be 10 bucks or less, I wouldn't care if I'm rewarding Bioware: the game deserves better.

If they bundle the multiplayer DLC content with the ending sequence anything above $10 would be a bit high

I would say no because EA and Bioware are reading these forums.

I would be upset that they would charge for a good ending, but I would buy it. (Unfortunately)

I would.
And I would buy it without holding a grudge. I think that BW guys were genuinely satisfied with the current endings, and didn't think that thay would be SO disappointing.
I would even be happy to know that they listened to the community.

 JUST endings? No

Endings with a full on campaign and/or MP content?

Sure

That would depend on what's offered:

1) A short 5-10 minute set of alternate endings could be implemented through a patch, in which case it would be free.

2) A substancial 1-2 hour long DLC would definitely be worth paying for, as it would include new content and not just an alternate set of possible endings.

If the DLC was meaty and well-done, yes.

Yes.

Maybe they have no right to charge for it. But I need a proper ending, and I want to play the game again. So yeah, I'd pay. Unless it was just an epilogue, in which case I'd wait until someone made a tool that let you view it based on your choices and watch for free.

dunno honestly,I would probably pay to see what happens, let's say 5 years after the game. Even then, I'm not a fan of paying 100$ to get the "complet experience"

I would pay. As OP pointed out, there's no way EA is going to sign off on Bioware creating free DLC. VAs cost money. Production itself costs money. The people that work hard to make sure the glitches are minimal (note I didn't say non-existent) and create smooth animations deserve to be paid.

I would be especially happy if they'd embrace the indoctrination theory. It makes sense and would allow people who like the endings as they are to remain happy.

It would be a nice commercial gesture from BW to release the DLC for free, but they don't have to do it. Heck, they don't have to change the endings, either. They should, of course, but they don't have to. If they decide to change the endings it will be further proof that they really do listen to their fans. And that they are willing to invest more work and money to make us happy. I wouldn't mind paying.

Now ideally, they should release a DLC with new endings *and* extra missions. Just like Broken Steel. And charge something like ten dollars for it. That way, everybody's happy.

I would pay for it. That being said how much it costs and how much else is in it would determine if I buy another Bioware product down the line. I understand that they may have to charge since it wasn't part of the budget and free might not be an option but it better be more then just a few additional or edited cut scenes.   Charging for a good ending sets a bad president but meh I don't think many companies will resort to pushing out sub par endings then charging later for fixes.  ME has a special place in peoples hearts and if most other games tried that most would just say well that sucks and move on.

Guys, please stop saying you are going to pay for it! I said that i'd pay for it but that was my mistake. They'll want to charge us then! Hopefully they won't! That's at least what the rumor says and that would be the proper thing to do, not charge us!
