Guys, please stop saying you are going to pay for it! I said that i'd pay for it but that was my mistake. They'll want to charge us then! Hopefully they won't! That's at least what the rumor says and that would be the proper thing to do, not charge us!

We're stating our opinions. I am sorry, but I'm not going to lie about how I feel about all this.

Agreed.  While being charged for just the ending isn't right it is an option. Many are willing to spend money for the closure ME desirves.  Besides the general concensus is that to charge for ending DLC it would need more then just ending changes.   A free ending patch is the best case scenerio but given the final decision any any change or DLC is gonna come down to some execs crunching numbers.  A paided DLC has a much better chance of getting past that point  while not the best option its a comprimise we might have to make.

If you're talking about "The Truth", that rumor has been debunked.  I can't locate the exact tweet, but a Bioware employee confirmed that it was a false leak.

I would not pay for what I paid for already, which is an end with closure. I'll watch the youtube video postings of the end(s) should it come to that. Also, if they actually did this stunt (ie. charging for an end that should already have been included), I'll not be purchasing other Bioware products, possibly extending to EA itself. I'll miss out on DA3, but maybe it's for the best. At least the other 2 games wouldn't be ruined for me that way.

I would pay $20 dollars for a new ending honestly. I felt robbed of all the descisions i made through out all 3 mass effect's with this ending i felt like i imported only for the extra items for my character when i imported because it was my character i choose how it was and just honestly i hope they pull a fallout 3 and change the ending with dlc.

No, it wouldn't be right. It would also be a terrible business move. But they have the right to do it. I just hope they're smart enough to realize they shouldn't, or at least charge for extra content, like new missions and the ability to play after the ending.

I would, and it would likely be the last piece of dlc I ever buy from them.

I would be damn pissed at them, but I would buy it as a huge ME-fanboy.

of course, I don't expect them to do all that work on a new ending for free.

I would say yes.  Under the principle that it is more important that this be done right than a half assed "here's what we could do for free"

Would I prefer that it be free? Oh absolutely, but in a choice between doing it free and doing it right, I'd prefer it be done right.

Yes. If they want to admit their mistake and give it another try, I'm on board for it. That might be the only DLC I'm actually interested in at this point.

They should have done it right to begin with. It is not selfish or arrogant, it is not some form of extortion. I already paid for the product they should have made sure it was what they marketed it to be before they distrubuted it. Am I surprised that so many would be willing to pay a second time for something they should have received the first time? No. We are addicted to our free bread and circuses. Will I pay for it a second time? Nope. Nor will I buy any other bioware product again.
