I can't seem to get my Dragon Age cd key to register on this site. I go to profile>register games>pc and enter in my cd key properly but get an error saying: "Code is not valid for game."

I've checked it a dozen times to make sure I typed it right, and have tried both upper and lower case, no luck. My EA and Bioware forum accounts are already linked. What am I missing?

Same thing, if you'll notice, the format isn't even the same. I suspect we need another key. Have you tried redeeming your code for exclusive items? I had no luck there either.

Well, I tried to remove one of the double posts (when I posted originally it told me I had an invalid link, so i thought that meant it didn't work...). But now it just tells me wrong post.

I'm actually afraid of trying to redeem my item codes since the game won't register, my luck the codes wouldn't be associated properly and I would lose the items altogether.

At first I thought maybe the system just wasn't ready for registrations or some such since we got the game a little early, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I browsed through some profiles until I found someone with DA:O listed under their registered games, so apparently it has worked for at least one person, hmm.

Just to see, I went to the redeem code section and I get nothing but a blank page. Either they took the system down or it's overloaded I suppose. I tried the redeem code link from inside the game and same issue. Hope this gets resolved soon!

I'm having the exact same problems as you are. I think that I'll just leave the game sit for a few days, maybe a week, and then see if anything works the way it is supposed to. The game so far is pretty neat, although I am still in the extremely early part of the game.

some of the limited edition items have to be claimed before 6/11/09, which means if the site is still broken we will all miss out

I just got my presell CE of DA:O from EBgames. As of about 10minutes ago i was finally able to get to the 'redeem promo code' part. However when i used the code (for 3 ingame items(Bergen's honor and a couple of others)) i got 2 messages

1- That the code was invalid (in red)

2- That it was successful (in green)



When i reloaded game (i was logged in at game main menu) there was no entry in journal nor items that i have found and it was not listed in the main menu downloaded content.

I then tried again this time no 'green successful message'

I am still unable to register my games cd-key as it just tells me that it is invalid.



Can we please have an official reply?

Same problem as above poster. Redeemables worked fine. I'm being told that my "Code is not valid for game" when trying to register my new PC version of DA. Very frustrating as my main goal was to get the toolset downloaded which requires being registered. Game installed just fine with the provided CD key.

Axact same as above posters. Had the 2 messages, one red and one green, when i first tried a promo code... with no effect in game.



Now when I try it I only get the red message 'Code not valid'



Worried for my ability to redeem now

Darn, got the same problem here. I dare not try the redeem codes incase it's tied to the game registration. Code registration just gives me the code not valid for game message.

A quick question, are these problems happening only with the PC version or does it effect the console versions to?

10 am PST 11/3/9 is when the game goes live.

Odds are real good nothing will be redeemable untill then.

Least you guys can play the base game now...I got the DDE so 1pm est for me.

I'm having the same problem as Raiithe. I entered my CE promo code for the 3 ingame items and got the same messages, one red stating that the code was invalid and another green stating that it was successful.



Actually I got the same for all my promo codes but everything else downloaded fine (armour, feral wolf charm, etc) except The Stone Prisoner addon.



It originally didn't appear in my downloads so I logged out and back in - now it comes up failed and when I click retry I have a choice to go to the support site (where I can't find a resolution) or hit cancel to continue except nothing actually happens.



I'm also unable to register the game and have the pc version.

AH HA! That's right, but why did it work for others? Some people it worked for, because several people in the Toolset forums said they checked the download page, registered their game, and when clicking to go to download the program it gave them a 404 Error?

Ok, so I tried clearing the download cache from the repair option in configuration as one of the articles suggested. It removed the stuck download from download progress tab however, it now only appears as an option to buy from the available content tab



I really really hope I haven't just blown my one time code!!

I have the exact same problem. The Shale DLC works fine (thank god!), but not the three bonus items, (Bergen's Honor, Final Reason, and Grimoire of The Frozen Wastes). I hope I haven't buggered it!
