Having the exact same problem with the my CD key; it's giving me the old "Code is not valid for game" message in red, which is quite frustrating.

Same here. This is really scandalous! There is not a step-by-step guide how to register the game, I had to figure out everything myself! I'm really pissed now! I can not register the game (my code is invalid!) nor the extra content keys... In this time, when there are so many online games, this is simply unbelievable...

This method seems so alien and buggy compared to redeeming the Mass Effect addon. I still am unable to register the game (let along it took ages for me to simply get my social profile up and running). I typed in the redeem codes included in the Collector's edition and I get the double 'not a valid code' 'code successfully redeemed' message. Nothing else happens though. Game wise I'm pleased with the atmosphere, but I'm really displeased with the issues I'm having.

Well I am having a slightly different problem registering...I enter the key and then nothing happens. Nothing. Yes I have an internet connection...yes I waited for quite some time in case there was a delay in processing. Think maybe servers are just overwhelmed or something and I should wait a few days to try to register...or something else afoot?

I don't have the collector's edition of the game, yet I can't register my key either... /sigh.

Same issue here. Seems like it could be a load issue. I wasn't able to register an account for 5 hours...finally, my account is working, but it will not yet accept the game key.

I seem to be having issues registering the game to redeem my pre-order codes. I continue to get the " This code is not valid" Any ideas or was around this?

I can't redeem jack-**** or register jack-****. The only thing this piddly ass server managed to do was to get my ONE dragonage:journeys item into my computer.

I was just having the same problem, and I read in another thread that someone tried their CD key without the dashes (even though the site says include them while typing), but for kicks and giggles I tried it, and it accepted the key first shot.



Strange, but... it worked

Having all the same issues as everyone else - thought I would point out that the game registration page says,



Retail version

To register this game, please use the cdkey provided in your retail box. The DA cdkey look like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. (include the dashes when entering your key).



HOWEVER, it's NOT in the retail box, it's on the back cover of the in-game-MANUAL,which obviously comes in the retail box!

I couldn't register either.  It wasn't that I was getting an invalid entry.  Every time I clicked the register button, nothing happened.  Now when I tried to redeem the Shale content.  At first I got the red boxed invalid code, but about the third time, it was accepted.
Went into the game and it appears to have downloaded and been extracted into the game.

I was having the issues as well and it appears they have fixed the issue. I can now register my digital download dragon age key to my account.

All my CE, pre-order codes worked, like some people, but my actual game key from Direct2Drive will not register my game

is there any news or updates from EA/Bioware? or are they simply refusing to acknowledge that a large group of people cannot register their game?

Try from within the game instead of directly from this website. Yes it will redirect you to the website, but it worked that way for me.

I kept getting "code is not valid for game" error.  So, I just kept clicking "REGISTER" button in frustration...imagine.  It finally "took" and it registered.
I think it's all just borked because of volume, so think of it as a busy phone line - gotta keep trying.

I entered my information online while I was waiting for the install and now when I launch the game using my log-in info it's not crediting the game to my account AND it's saying the code has already been used.

I've only tried registering the game to the social site which says "code is not valid for game". I got the steam digital deluxe version.

Well I was able to register the game, but I can't log into my account from within the game because I am apparently not connected to the internet.



That's obviously a vicious lie, considering that I'm posting right now.



I'm guessing they're having server issues.

I have yet to install the game (being at work and all). Was able to register the game with no issue. All the promo codes give me an error but also say it is done. Is there a way on the site to see the promo codes you've entered.
