And how did you manage to block out/not notice all those unanswered questions and all those plot holes?

So far the only one I haven't been able to answer completely is the one where Joker is flying away. Even then I managed a BS answer then fit my needs. That means there is only one plot-hole for me. To be honest all sci-fi is so full of plotholes that in order to enjoy them one has to suspend belief. FTL travel is a plothole in itself.

Nothing like making things up to cover up bad writing in a game.

If this is pointed at me, I'm wondering what I "made up?"

If no one made it into the beam....how did Anderson get into the beam before Shepard?????

Also would you accept a new ending?

And what is your opinion on the synthesis ending?

They didn't know Anderson or Shep made it to the beam. With the mass destruction and explosions going off, I can see why they would assume that.

I would except a new ending if it was what Bioware had planned from the beginning. (That doesn't seem likely now.) Bioware changing the product after release because the fans demand it would be a huge fail in my opinion. If this (the second option) happened and the new ending was better then the older one, I'm not sure how would feel. I'd have to experince both. Most likely, too me, the original ending would always be the real ending. (Just like no matter how much I try to deny it Sins Past really happened. No matter how out of story, character, and believeabliity it is. It happened. Poor Spidey.)

I have a quote from an article that sums up my opinion on the Synthesis ending:

"I’m okay with made up sci-fi nonsense in my made up sci-fi nonsense."

This quote comes from: http://www.rockpaper...Paper, Shotgun)

It is a good read and I recomend it.

People are entitled to their tastes. But as I've said repeatedly in these kinds of threads, Mass Effect 3 (1) tries to execute a tragic ending without setting up a tragic hero, which falls completely flat and (2) is missing the majority of its third act (there's no falling action or dénouement). Its writers do not have the skill or artistic vision necessary to pull off this sort of deviation from form, and as a result it's a failure of storytelling.

That doesn't mean that you can't enjoy it or that you're wrong to. But I also think it would be absurd to claim that, from a critical perspective, it's well-done.

Finished my canon Shep. It was great. Still no thoughts in my head about disliking the ending. You guys seemed to have been wrong. Onto my third Shep.

I'm happy for you that you liked the endings. I did not so I disagree with you but that is my personal preference. Kudos for you and I hope you enjoy playing the game again.

So there is no way that you would have improved the ending yourself? No way that you would have done it?

So you are in that 5% that doesn't have a problem with the end. Is there really a point to this thread at all?

Image IPB  Is that what you got from the ending? Wow, you must hate it. Sucks to be you. My ending was much better.  Image IPB

That very much is a troll.
Nobody can defend that got awful ending, they just say they like it but never give an legit reasons as to why they like it, other than "it was the end of the trilogy".

Well duh it was the end and it was badly written.

No, it is not a troll, and to be honest I'm tired of it being called one. I like the ending because: It's well written, It has no inconsistances, and it gives my Sheps the chanse to have a happy ending dispit all the stuff he and his crew wenth through.

When posts like this pop up I almost can't take them seriously. To me, it's as if the OP has decided to completely ignore the plot holes and non-sensical events transpiring before them just so they can enjoy the pretty lights and explosions.

On that note, ME3 was a great game. It just didn't have a great ending. If the OP found all that stuff satisfying? That's awesome. I, however, cannot be so easily amused.

There were no plotholes. Just because others say there are doesn't mean I think there are. Everything that happened made sense, and was complete.
