Just finished my first run of ME3. I took some advice and did it with a default Shep. I choose to destroy the Reapers. Everything seemed to fit. Bioware crafted a wonderful Trilegy and when they were done telling their story I wasn't left wanting. Usually when I finish a series that I love as much as I love ME. I'm sad that the journey is over. With ME it's different. I loved everything about it. From the Mako to mounds of weapon and armor DLC's that I will never use. Everythign just felt right. This is a way to say, "Thank You." to the company that has now solitified itself, in my eyes, as the greatest videogame developers of all time. It was a Hell of a Run Bioware. I'm glad I was part of it. Mass Effect was beautiful.

Your mind didn't process the ending yet or you are in shock.

I bet 20 bucks that you will wake up in the middle of the night covered in cold sweat and yell "WHAT THE F*** WAS JOKER DOING ON THAT JUNGLE PLANET?!?!?!?!?".

I agree with you, the ending is about as good as the Mako and the DLC weapons that nobody ever uses.

Waiting for that $10 DLC obviously.

Wow, if that's not sarcastic, then it's certainly a breath of fresh air.  Glad to know there's one more person who enjoyed the game (there are few of us left here now).

If op isn't trolling it just supports my suspicion that almost everyone who likes the ending plays with default shep

No sarcasm. Loved every second of the three hundred-plus hours I spent on ME.

Great! Now come over and support the hold the line crowd in getting endings that would make us feel the same way you did with these orginals ;)

No, I have Paragade Male and FemSheps. I was just told I should play my first run with a default. I took the advice.

I'm happy for you. Personally, I liked the game but the ending was atrocious, abrupt, pasted on, and unnecessary...

But that is the difference between some people here... some of us are a little more sensitive to "off notes" than others... (And I'm not trying to put you down.) But, it's like jazz... some people like it - but, to me, it just sounds like a random mess with no structure at all... And that's how I felt about ME3. It was like classical music, up until the last ten minutes - then it suddenly changed (for no valid reason) - and all the notes went sour...

So your not going to take in account the numerous plot holes and lack of closure for all the characters and races you've come to known in the last 5 years?

I dont disagree that the journey was terrific. But the last 5 minutes of the series have totally busted EVERYTHING the games have worked towards.

Give it some thought.
And demand a better ending with us..

This isn't meant to be an insult, but the people who like the endings tend to have low standards. They don't analyze the end to recognize all the plot holes or the fact that it doesn't at all adhere to what the previous games established.

Image IPB  I won't, but that was a very good attempt. And I am very impressed with the Child's Play donations.  Image IPB

Not this.  I liked the ending but I played with an imported Shep.

If OP is trolling, then they are quite good at it.
If not, then they are being extremely polite in the face of criticism.

Either way, they deserve congratulations.

Alas, I do have a couple non-default Sheps I'll never get around to, but I played my one playthrough of ME3 with default.  Still all WTF? and stuff about the ending.
