Register Game, Redeem Codes, Neither Work

Well, I'm having a couple different code related issues.

Obviously the site is not handling the pre-release traffic very well, makes me shudder for tomorrow, but here goes.

When I try to enter my code for the downloadable items (from my DA:O Collector's Edition)

I've used Firefox 3.5.4 and IE8 both unsuccessfully. Hell, I even threw in an IETab just to see.

With IE8, the site refuses to keep me logged in from one page to the next. Of course, that's probably because half the time that I try to access a page it returns 'Page cannot be displayed'.

Firefox has more success, it can at least keep me logged in. However, if I try to Redeem Promo Codes (http://social.biowar...redeem_code.php), it takes me to a blank page (no source at all).

So, I tried to register my game. The site tells me that my CE key is invalid (obviously it was sufficient for me when installing the game). I noticed, however, that the site calls for " The DA cdkey look like XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX."

My key is not. It is formatted XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

I know the site says this is a beta. I don't care. If I'm required to come here and register these things, they should've been setup successfully before release.

Note: Good thing I copied this post before I hit submit, looks like the site was down briefly. Although, it doesn't appear to have resolved the issues I mentioned above.

If you are experiencing issues registering your game or redeeming codes, please use the "contact us" link at the bottom of any page with details. If using that form, you can include your CDKEY and we can investigate why it's not working.

We have fixed the code redemption to show a success message when a code is redeemed. However trying to redeem the same code twice won't hurt anything but will still show an error if you have already redeemed it. We are currently working on adding a page that show which codes you currently have redeemed.



We have also fixed the game registration and games should now properly register. Please let us know if there are still problems registering Dragon Age or redeeming codes.

Game registration currently only works for certain editions. We are resolving this ASAP and will have it fixed shortly.

Registration for Dragon Age on this site should now be working for all PC versions.

Why, in the name of all that is intelligent, would they allow it to be possible to use your code while not logged in? That just seems amazingly stupid to me.


We require you to be logged in, but we can't do anything if you attach your codes to a *different* account than what you are using in-game.  Hence the warning.

additionally, we have deployed a fix so that code entering is no longer case sensitive. we are sad that we didn't know about that one earlier. :(
