Hi there,
I create this thread because after finishing the game yesterday night, I really feel like I should apologize.
Before I even started the game, I was in the general discussions forum a lot and I heard about the "bad endings" and came across a thread about "new ending dlc".
Back then, I posted in this thread, condemning the very idea of a $10 ending DLC. My reasons for this were solid. If one company starts with this kind of practice and has success, you can bet that others will follow the example and soon we will have to buy our endings extra for most games. I still stand by the notion that buying an ending DLC is not the way to go for video game consumers.
However, after seeing the current situation at the end of ME3, I realize I really had no idea what I was talking about just a couple of days ago. And I say "Screw it!"
I do want an ending DLC for ME3 and I am ready to pay for it as well because I am just too invested with this franchise to give a damn (mind you that ME3 IS an exception in that regard).
I also said that we should take the ending BioWare intended, believing that after all the work these people put into their franchise it must be somewhat appropriate. Clearly I was wrong on that count as well.
So here it is, I apologize to everyone who has been "holding the line". You were right and I was wrong.
You guys are not haters or people with a false sense of entitlement, you genuinely care and so do I.
And though I think the chances of actually achieveing something are small at best, I also think it is worth to at least be heard.
Well, felt I had to get that off my chest, so my regards to everyone involved in the discussion and ... we will hold the line! :innocent:
You are welcome as a brother among us, together we shall hold the line or see the world come undon.

Wouldn't wish the experience of the ending on anyone who has love for the ME universe.
It hurts!

Not anymore. I fell into that trap quite a few times, guess some take a bit longer to snap out of it.
