w8 really? because i just almost soloed silver (i had 1 h. sentinel with me and he was more of a problem then anything else)

a guy joining our silver match as a lvl 19 krogan and just as we all ready up switching to a lvl 2 turian. I'm sorry but me and my friends refuse to carry you for free xp if you have something more useful to use. If your under N7 20, thats fine, but your a N7 50 with a class that can help, fear the wrath of our kicking prowess

Vanguards equipped with a sniper.
Same goes for any class that should be relying on abilities.
I inform them why they should change their gear and if they sit there like a dolt (most common response) I just leave.

The bait and switch that Puldalpha talked about has happened more than a few times.  I had hoped that the normal antics that plague online play wouldn't carry over here, it's almost worse because it's only co-op and people are happy to be completely carried.

I'm not saying Vanguards with snipers have the right idea, but this is bugging me.  So what if a power reliant class has a sniper?  I once ran a silver with an adept with a sniper.  Statis, headshot, statis, headshot.  The dude rocked it.  Got the 75 sniper kill medal by wave 6, never went down once.

Then again, 95% of my playtime is with my own team, and I rarely quick match.  But some of these comments remind me of WOW elitest, only it matters even less cuz its a flippin' shooter.

But, on the flip side, vanguard with sniper is probably the worst idea ever, unless your (Y) button is broken.

Agreed, Adept and others aren't as bad but Vanguard lives and dies on getting powers off in quick succession. 

Also, it appears a great deal of people in this thread have no idea how the class is played.

Group fail when...  You get kicked from the lobby after outscoring everyone and carrying the team.   Really guys?  I was gonna leave anyway but okay...

Vanguard
excels at clearing trash. Obviously against Reapers there are a fair
number of problems because Brutes and Banshees have melee range instant
kills that are unavoidable if you charge them, but they can still do
well if they are being played competently. Cerberus has Atlas and
Phantom both with instant kills, but the Atlas doesn't seem to use his
much and Phantoms get staggered by charge.

Maybe if you're going
to try to min/max perfectly on everything you don't want a Vanguard over
like.. and Asari adept or an infiltrator or something, but they're
hardly a useless class.

I regard groups as fails when they
completely ignore objectives and just act like it is a normal wave and
when they immediately rush the extraction point and bring down 3 brutes
and 2 banshees on it when the only time you need to be in the circle is
two minutes in.

well, I've seen many vanguards do it correctly against banshees..
just rush, punch, roll back, repeat..

3.  Squad member REFUSES to revive you, even when next to you

That might be because of bugs.  Quite often, I'm playing as almost a ghost.  I shoot at ennemies, but I do no harm.  I can't grab a ladder, I can't hit F to kill a foe.  Only thing I can do, is get close to an ennmy, wait to be grabbed, than press F repeatedly to kill it.  I know it happens to lot of people.
When that happens, I can't interact with object.  I can't activate a switch, I can't revive a crew member.  So, it would appear as me standing next to a fallen comrade and doing nothing.

I suspect maybe it is this, rather than not willing to revive someone.

When you after so many disconnects from the severs finally get a game.
Load up your re jigged Asari Vanguards, run into lag.. And what I like to call "Fingers of futter."

Hit 1 constantly when you mean to stasis.. Charge into stupid places, and either melee, warp dodge back or need to get resurrected.

IE a group is a fail when you become "one of those vanguards."

Definitely buggy. Right now I have about a 50% success rate of my spacebar actually activating revive. For some reason it just never wants to freaking work.

It's always a bad game when I run away from mobs, only to clip an object and instantly try to take cover, in full view of the enemies I'm running from.
