It does my heart good to see people get together to, for the most part, express their displeasure at how the end of Mass Effect's trilogy goes out with a whimper rather than a bang. You've got people on Facebook, Twitter, BSN, IGN, etc etc coming together and actually make their voices heard. But really, at least for here what's the overall mission statement for the Retake Mass Effect movement?
I think we can all agree we want an ending(s) that give most of us a sense of closure (ie. a better ending). But beyond that we don't really have a concrete plan of the how's and why's. What I am hoping is that we can narrow it down to the top 5 or 10 or whatever reasons that we all can agree on to be the power points for our argument that we can present to BioWare/EA so we can show them that we're more than just a collection of splinter groups. That we're actually a very organized mass movement that can work together for a common purpose, a common goal. That we can simply go beyond saying "We're Holding the Line" and actually say "We're holding the line because of x, x, and x" reasons. Together.
So I invite anyone who wants to, please feel free to contribute to making a mission statement we can all rally under. I only ask that we remain civil, but firm with people who may disagree with us. That's the only way to get the message across that we're both united and in this for the long haul. And that we're not a bunch of rabble rousing hooligans.
So What's the Retake ME3 Mission Statement?
