He'd probably trash your level 3-4 guy straight out of his origin story.

Not if it was one of the cheapshot kills you can get. Dagger to the back of the skull Genitivi style.

At that point in the story for all your character knows Loghain is a war hero about to lead Ferelden forces to yet another victory like he did in the past few days. Frankly it makes more sense to have option to attack Duncan at that point because he actually did some things you may resent him for (and even that would be a stretch in most cases) But Loghain?Pennoyer wrote...
In Ostagar, where you can talk your way to seeing Loghain, you should get an option to slash his throat. Would be interesting to see how the story would change from there.

You've got to admit, even if he is a war hero, he's a bit... shifty. You know at the end of the meeting right after the joining when he says "Yes, Cailan, a glorious moment for us all..."? Tell me that didn't scream "YOU ARE GOING TO DIE." Just say that your character is extremely paranoid.

True, but then the moment of opportunity is lost.
When I talked to him by his tent he seemed like a completely reasonable, if slightly frustrated, guy.

Too bad you can't use that 'ultimate weapon' through the whole of the main campaign lol

That Fabio lookalike soldier guarding the army camp who won't let you pass.
"Sorry miss the army camp's off limits to you right now."
"Sorry miss the army camp's off limits to you right now."
"Sorry miss the army camp's off limits to you right now."
"Sorry miss the army camp's off limits to you right now."
Grr... "Sorry sir, life is off limits to you right now!" *stab*
Stupid little man telling me where I can go!
