Let me just say this

The good old day-
KOTOR
KOTOR2
Jade Empire
ME1
DA:O
(Even letting CD Projekt Red Studio uses your engine to make The Witcher)
ME2

The fall of Bioware-
DA2
ME3
End game content for SWTOR

-My answer is no. I do not trust them anymore. I want my old Bioware. EA please GTFO xD

So you know Bioware did not make Kotor 2 ,Obsidian did

No, Bioware has went from buying straight away, down to the wait and see if it's good developers.

Only companies I trust now are Blizzard, Valve, Relic and Nintendo.

Mass Effect 3 was godlike to me, the only thing bad about it was the end. Yeah, i do trust them still.

My trust in BioWare's ability to craft a satisfying story has been disturbed. Whether or not it can be rebuilt depends entirely on how they handle this big Mass Effect 3 issue.

Not after today's Facebook fiasco. That was the last straw. I'm never believing anything a BioWare employee says again without seeing proof.

I trust Bioware, but I don't trust EA. When there is a conflict of interest between the two Bioware will always lose. If EA decide to release a game in March it will be released in March regardless whether it's ready or not. I'm surprised it was released 6 months later than it was announced, Bioware must really have begged them to extend the deadline.

This statement I agree with.

I would like to add that poorer quality gameplay does not bother me nearly as much as poorer quality storytelling.

I agree.
Will say that I won't be pre-ordering again though.

At this point I have no choice but to trust them. What other company actually creates such a good story line and character set? The ME 3 ending was a disappointment, but quite frankly, DA 2 grew on me as I played through as different characters (with the exception of the Orsino fiasco).

Both series have blown massive plot holes into their canon, and I don't appreciate having to pay extra to get the really interesting character in the storylines (ME), but it is what it is. I can't do FPS, I'm really not that thrilled with combat, combat and more combat. In fact, by the end of this game, I dial down the difficulty simply because I am so tired of killing things, I just want to get through to the end. But the goodbye scenes, the interaction with my LI, my scenes with my BFFs Liara and Garrus....priceless.

If another company comes around who writes as well as they do, then my money will probably go there, particularly if they will at least give me one winning ending.

They still write a great story and great character interaction.

Nah, I think like the devs said, they ain't gods and couldn't predict such a response, therefore it's safe to say it's never a great idea to trust bioware fully. I'll trust them here and there, but no, I'm not going to preorder ever again (might be possible if they fix ME3.)

Well they lied before the release and they continue to lie about not needing Multiplayer to get all the singleplayer endings so no I don't trust them and they don't get a cent of my money unless they make things right.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

I don't have the respect for them that I once had and trust is sinking fast. Still waiting to see what they are going to do. But the longer they wait, the harder are my feelings towards them. I am sure that a lot of it has to do with being angry about the ending, but a lot of it is about trust. They said that they had learned their lesson from DA2, but apparently they did not.

Yes, I still trust them. But that trust is shaky right now. I didn't stop believing in them, because they are communicationg with us and maybe they give us DLC with ending to repair the damage. The truth is, if they won't give us new endings, I will completely lose faith. Sad, but true.

for me, its not so much a matter of trust as it is direction. I thought that with DAO and ME 2 ( the point I met bioware) that bioware could read my mind! Such storytelling and game experience was awesome to me. I felt these games had a fair balance of light and dark, but in the end, the epic hero saved the day somehow. it was rewarding and fulfilling.

then with DA2, I sensed a shift in the story. it became darker, more pessimistic, depressing and more of a catch 22, where no matter what, life sucks, then you die, no matter how hard you fight.

now with ME3 ending, its the same thing, darker, depressing, pessimistic, and again, a big eff you to the hero.

these are not the kinds of stories I like or games I want to play. I figured that bioware ran some demographic numbers and felt that the best way to make money with their games is to make them all about nothing. This nihilist approach is not for me.

bioware is a buisness. to stay in business, they must give the majority of their customers what they want. If they feel that the demographics say nihilism is where the trends are going, and thats where the money is,, then most likely, thats where they will invest.

so...again..I trust them to be a business. but as for me, I feel I am no longer the type of fan they are looking for.

I am the type of fan that wants epic heros, who save the day, thru some
sacrifice, but in the end, gets to ride off into the sunset with LI.

so..its about the direction bioware is taking. I surely wont preorder any more of their games. I will have to vet each out and see if it suits me. no big deal. I would buy more of their games if they returned to epic hero instead of nihilist hero.

I just feel sad, because they make such good epic hero games!

I never had an unspoken sacred trust for BioWare. I usually have a gut instinct how a title will fare from game to game, and it ends up right about 95% of the time. The other 5% were DA2, FF13, and BioShock 2 to name a few.

I do not trust BioWAre any longer. Even DA:O had a rushed ending (but the writing was solid). No more pre-orders from me.

Being a business I trust them to do what will best earn them money. Usually that is by giving the customer/consumer what they want. We will see if they still subscribe to that logic if a ending change comes. For future titles I'm going to be very cautious no more pre-orders and only purchasing after I read reliable reviews. Buying DLC isn't even an option until after something is done about ME3 ending.

For me trust has nothing to do with it.

DA2 was a letdown because for me they are targeting a different audience compaired to DAO without honestly saying so.
ME3's ending does not cut it for me as is and is so unforfilling they make replayability near impossible killing their own franchise.

Instead from preordering and buying strait away they just went to see and wait and bargain bin.

It's not that I don't trust them due to their inability to wrap this series up, my lack of trust in them pertains to their plagiarism. I've Dragon Age Origins sitting on Steam and I've never beaten it before. I was considering playing through it and then moving onto DAII; however, I'm going to refrain from doing so for two points.

1. The plagiarism issue. I can't bring myself to support a company that steals from other artists.

2. What if I get really invested in it only to be disappointed by Dragon Age III? I will have wasted even more money on II and III just like I did with the Mass Effect series.

According to articles and interviews surfacing, it's clear that they didn't rush the game. Either that or they did and EA are trying to shut them up about it. More signs point toward the former being true, so if they aren't going to acknowledge our support, I'm not going to support them.
