First it was Dragon Age 2 and now the ending for Mass Effect 3? What has happened to Bioware?

I am done with them, I am not going to be taken advantage of again.

I took a break from COD MW, but at least, I know where it is coming from, I'll stick with FPS.

RPG from Bioware is dead.

YES - I trust Bioware
YES - I trust that this was all intended from the begining
YES - I believe something truely epic in keeping with mass effect and true bioware form is coming our way.

Hold the Line.

This would make me trust them less, if that were possible. More broken promises.

Mass Effect 3 was to be the end of Shepard's story. It was not. It was a cop out, thanks to the last 15 minutes.

If you believe in a planned DLC to conclude Mass Effect 3. Gouging. Engage us with an imcomplete product, then charge us for the end. No thanks.

Frankly, in my opinion,  the delusion of it being planned is denial.

They half arse it. They failed to deliver. More broken promises.

I thought they would regain my trust by making ME3 great but after DA2 I suspected something would go wrong. I wish I had been wrong. I know that I won't ever buy anything from BioWare without have a good look next time.

Nope.
After Dragon Age 2, I promised I would never buy any Bioware products after Mass Effect 3.

No, they have broken faith. This has nothing to do with Dragon Age 2 though, that was a flawed but fun game (to me!). At the moment, if the head dev were to call the sky blue, I'd have to get a second opinion.

Ye gods sometimes I think I'm the only one who feels that way about DA2, the way some people go on you'd think it was a game created by Satan specifically to murder kittens and push pensioners in front of buses.

Is it wrong I would actually buy a game about killing kittens and pushing old people in front of busses?

me3 rocked 95%, ending bombed the whole franchise for me.
I had it preordered since Apr 2011.
DA2 was unfortunately a letdown already, ..it had some good, some bad, but all in all.. very mixed feelings about.
it seems like a big discrepancy nowadays to what the "writer", designer or whoever at BW wants (maybe bored of conventional stories) and what a large part of the audience expects.
do i feel represented as stakeholder ? -> no.

and this in a game that promises to reflect "my story","my outcome".. but leaves me feeling like no one told this to the writer. well whatever.
i´ll certainly not preorder BW stuff anymore. Possibly buying stuff if user reviews are good, but not before.
Ah and i will certainly fund some game-projects potentially representing what im looking for in the future as well as playing some more Skyrim and waiting for its expansions to materialize.
RIP BW.. i started our journey with Comanche.

I do trust Bioware, they had made some mistakes, but what company doesn't. They'll do something about the endings and I know they want to please their fans. So personally, I'm giving them a chance.
The only thing really wrong in ME3 was the endings, beyond that, they made a beautiful game and I'm more then willing to play their next game/DLC.

I no longer have "blind faith" in Bioware but after some soul searching IF BW lives up to their pre-launch statements about the game & ending [by releasing an ending DLC or similar] then I'm willing to begin the slow process of letting them re-earn some of the trust that I have lost.

I'm not preordering if that is what you mean. I'm probably not buying until a few weeks after release, if at all. So no trust really.

Will i have faith in them? no. Will i just blindly hate them for anything they do? no. this just means i will temper my future expectations, and any future games will be seen with a more critical eye.

I love all of their stuff so why would I get all melodramatic and start saying they lost my trust? Not once have they betrayed my trust. Even with DA 2 which was admittedly a flawed and underperforming game still gave me value and was still a fun trip back to Thedas. Mass Effect 3 is 30 to 40 hour game with great gameplay and incredible writing with a brainfart ending. I don't let the 5 minute brainfart bring down the rest of the game for me. Doing so would be to disrespect the work that has gone into it and the rest of it was a masterpiece so I enjoy the masterpiece and I am and I am now in the latter part of my third playthrough.

I may be bummed about the ending, and a bit disillusioned by the "hopeless struggle" bit. But, they made an absolutely brilliant series of games. I very much want an MMORPG in this universe, and have been commenting on that since I played ME2.

I think them being so incredibly receptive in terms of soliciting feedback in response to the backlash is making me trust them more. Plus, the @masseffect twitter account is the most responsive twitter account I've ever seen.

The community outreach group is great. I don't know what the mods, and social networking folks actual job titles are so, community outreach it is. It's this very cool, calm and collected response to what was/is a pure howling rage.

So, do I trust them in terms of talented game developers and storytellers? Yup. Did, in my subjective opinion, the ending frustrate? Yes. But, I'm not willing to trash what stellar accomplishments they have made by saying I don't trust them.

Bioware is dramatically raising the bar and advancing the game medium with the Mass Effect series. In 1987 I was trying to shoot the dog in Duck Hunt. Now? I committed genocide in a video game, united entire civilizations in a diplomatic and ambassadorial way, and paid for my decisions in prior games. It's really astonishing. So yup, trust them.

Actually not really no, dunno why I keep hanging around atm - to see if something actually happens.. But unless something is released rather fast to excuse this mess, ME3 was the last BW game I bought.

But one tries to stick by an old friend, since the BG days, in the hope that he mans up and apologizes, but not trusting him with any money anymore...

I trust until they fix this crap end (hope is all strategy ). If they do, they will hold my trust or never i will play a game from their.

Why i will play a game if in 10 min they destroyed everything they created, put space magic and our ''choices'' dont exist.

However I am holding the line and trusting... I dont know why but i am with hope. Maybe, its because the great experience I have until now with their games. My fear is that my trust and my comrades trust of this forum are for nothing....

I actually like TOR for what it is, and the DA2 team did seem to at least take some ownership of the faults in their game. I think I need to see how they handle ME3 before I make a decision one way or the other, but if they continue the way they have been, they'll pretty much destroy my trust in them.

Not as much as I used to, not enough to buy their games till a month or a year after, or I might just read spoilers, much less painful.

What trust I have hinges on the fact that the rest of Mass Effect 3 was unprecendent in its brilliance.

If they don't fix this ending, I'll be hard pressed to buy any more games from them that don't get outstanding reviews.

Well, I don't feel very confident about preordering from them anymore.

Trust is hard to earn, yet it is easily lost. Lets see how they handle this ME3 ending situation...
