I wouldn't say that I don't trust them, but I am very hesitant to purchase another game. DA2 was ok but still a disappointment and SWTOR is good but lacks the innovation that it really needs to standout.

I'll repeat it again, ME3 was amazing until the ending. If it didn't have the plotholes and lack of an epilogue then the game would have been near perfect in my opinion. Bioware seems very up and down with their recent games, either they really nail it, fall flat or a mixture of both.

But the company that created the Baldur's Gate series is long gone in my mind.

Same as the comapny that created Mass Effect.

As for the trust - after DA2, Deception and now this mess and pre-release lies I find them hardly beliveable.

Why would I trust a company that flat-out lies? Optional MP my ass.

I don't trust their judgment.

I still have faith they will sort out the ending though.

look i think this.
If after 5 years of pure awesomeness and at the very end they change writters and at least 70% of the comunity is pissed with them, then they need to step up, show proof they fired the guy for good. And i dont care if he has family you cant **** in 2.000.000 million people and walk clean from that. Otherwise this is a big ¨let show them we **** on them¨ story.

It's just epic fail after epic fail.
Mass effect 3 the worst of them until the fix the ending (if they ever do that) because the game had actually been so good until the last 10 minutes. How can you build in three games such a story and blow it all up in the last 5 minutes. This is so sad...

Ah..I don't trust anyone who makes more than I do...but they can't be all bad...I mean they brought you back, and then there's this...they just told me last night.

But really, is trust the issue. They are developers and I, a consumer of the things they develop. Trust has little to do with it for me. I wanted to "consume" Mass Effect 3, and they developed it. I didn't have to trust them for this to be true since I read and watched previews of the game enough to know I would like it. If any developer came out and said "Trust us, you'll like it" as a way to sell the game, I wouldn't buy it. Plus I don't buy games based off of developers. Bioware today is not the same as the Bioware that made ME1, and that team wasn't the team that made Balders Gate or Neverwinter Nights. Also, "Bioware" isn't really the team that made TOR, It was Mythic and the team that made SW:GAW, renamed Bioware. I don't buy "The New Bioware game", I buy Mass Effect, or Dragon Age.

As for TOR and DA 2, I liked TOR enough to be happy with what I payed for. I liked DA:O enough to get DA2, i'll probably get DA3 if there is one and it looks promising, even though DA2 was hard to get through, really hard. I don't purchase things based off trust. I like to think of myself as an informed consumer. I know what i'm getting myself into.

Yes, I will continue to buy Bioware games, as I will continue to buy any game that I know I will enjoy. I'm sorry to see people say they are going to stop buying possibly great games because of a name printed on a box but I have a feeling that if a game is good, people will buy it no matter the developer. As seen when the Left 4 Dead 2 and MW2 boycotts ended on release date, people don't like to be the ones left out in the cold.

Nope. Pretty sure BioWare and I are done at this point. The only money they'll ever see from me again is DLC for ME3 IF and ONLY IF they fix the ending. They're pretty clear on the fact that they are taking the company places that no longer targets consumers like myself. It's a pity but it's fact.

I don't think I ever would say I trusted them. I thought they put out some very interesting and good games. And I owned a good deal of them. I won't preorder again,I'll wait for the reviews. I was disappointed in DA2, ME3 was good until the end. I think they can still put out a quality product. It's just they don't have the luxury anymore it seems to have the time needed to do that.. Making games with lots of choices and different outcomes I believe takes more than 2 years to put together. And if it doesn't get it, you get games that are rushed and suffer for that. I believe ME3 is prime example of that. I said before the ending reminded me of KOTOR2,great game till the end, and people complained about that as well. It all came down in KOTOR2 the game was rushed for a holiday release and the ending couldn't be finished, so they slapped together something fast and had numerous plot holes and a bad finish like ME3.

More development time means more money spent, and less profit. Publishers want the game done and out the door to make money. So more  than likely your going to see games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age start to disappear or just not have the quality of game play  they used too.

Even if the ending sucks (which I agree), the game itself is great!
And tbh only DA:O had a good ending imo, the rest of the games (including ME1 and 2) were lacking.

Short and simply answer is no; plenty reasons too. ME3 was made by BioWare in name only and something went terribly wrong between ME2 and ME3, and the demo did not show this!

How the hell any company can ****** off 90% of their customers... and believe it isn't... appealed to a larger audience, yea right...

I still trust them as a developer. Dragon Age 2 was a mistake, and they realized that. Mass Effect 3 was a triumph up until the last few minutes. I find SWTOR to be a fun and engaging MMO, and I still play it.

I trust them until they announce their first DLC. If they don't have, at the very least, ending changes announced and in progress by that point, I will not trust them anymore.

I don't trust their judgement right now, but I trust their loyalty to us. For now.

Yeah, I'm pretty much on this fence too.  Up until this point, I had faith in BioWare as a company that listens to their fans.  Right now, they need to weigh their "artistic integrity" over their desire to please the fans that have stuck by them over the years.

If they keep their faith in their terrible ending, then me and BioWare are done.  But if express a desire to fix their mistake, I'll gladly pledge my faith to them again.

After seeing on the facebook page, that they do not plan on changing the endings. No, they are safe in their little bubble no one can touch them.

They tricked loyal fans to buying into this nonsense. I have had it. I am done with EA and BIoWare. They are heading to Call of Duty/gears of war style games. First person shooters because thats where the money is at. They had a chance to be great story writers and them having the ability to shine, gave face to how they fell. With ME3.

They over hyped that decisions would matter, they over-hyped the story telling and having so many endings it would have such a high replay value. I will not give up on holding the line, if they fix this great. But future games will be borrowed, not bought. I sink a good chunk of change into gaming. I now have to walk away from them.

BIOWARE sold out to EA and the need for DLC, and they have fallen like so many other greats in the past. We want you to profit from you work BioWare, but not from your greed.

No... I don't.

I don't even trust them to be artistic because if the Mass Effect 3 endings are what they call artistic..

I LOL...
