I must admit I've not done any research but after spending 10 minutes looking through the options I've not found where this is configured.

So the text in the chat window that shows all the goings on, dice rolls, damage, so and so casts nukage etc etc has at some stage been reduced to only 2 lines of text.  I'd guess the little window would fit 6 to 8 lines but as it is it's squashed up to two in the top of the chat area.  Needless to say is pretty useless.

I've tried to click on or around the little scroll arrows and on the chat window.

How do I re-enbiggen it so I can see however many is normal?

I'd like to get it back to look like in this pic (this is not from my PC)...

Many thanks!

Imagine it's an override you have installed, no real way of knowing but suggest testing by renaming your "Neverwinter Nights 2" folder inside my documents ( thus hiding it from NWN2 in a safe spot ), then starting the game and seeing if your problem goes away. It will create a new folder which is pristine. You can just delete this new folder and rename your original folder back to how it was to put it exactly how it was.

If the problem goes away, go ahead and copy content from your old folder to this known good folder, keeping it in the same position, but do it portion by portion until you identify which files are causing the issue.

If not your game itself either has custom content added to the game itself in program files ( which is a bad idea usually ), or something is corrupt and you need to reinstall, either way reinstalling is probably the only way to sort out the problem. ( Steam is nice for this since it has a way of fixing a games install and updating it back to pristine condition without a full reinstall being needed )

Thanks for the reply. I tried the override rename and it was the same. Fiddling more with the chat window and it looks like I'd just made it to small. Increasing the chat window height increases the number of visible lines. Still leaves a little blank space at the bottom though... Assume that's for online chat or the like? No biggie. Is ok now.

Thanks
