I noticed most side missons are collecting certain items from N7 missions and scanning planets. Though I think if done less this may have been a good little side way to get or increase war assests (or accidently decrease). I miss the old me1 where you could land a mountain climbing tank on a random planet look for anomalies, shoot up a scientific facility and fight thresher maws. I remember just to save toombs I did a few other missons leveled up then went back and persuaded him to put down the gun because I was more involved so to speak I wasn't overhearing some one then scanning a planet and then returning with the item and to more distance the side missons who you here them from is either named salarian, csec officer, ambassador, asari widow x2( that part made sense because well galactic war).

don't get me wrong the N7 missons were good and having played the multiplayer maps I was familiar with the area layout.

I liked the aria t'loak missions and the squad mate missons (which in my mind are  priority missons) which were following a good side mission structure.

I just want to know if anybody else found most  or some of the side missons repetitive or dull because side missons are why you play mass effect after you beat it to tie up loose ends.

Most people didn't like the ME1 system which is why they scrapped it. Personally I agree, I kind of liked being able to land on planets and just drive around doing random tasks.
