So an interesting thing just popped up on the Mass Effect Faceboook in regards to a fans message. Image can be
seen here. The internet, she never forgets.

The entire thread has been deleted on Facebook. Apparently they messed up
bad.

Nevermind, we lose. Pic here.

Both pics thanks to Bendok.

I've never been so disappointed as a gamer in my life... and that's a lot of gaming. But as I work through all my own personal emotional turmoil over this you can see all the original posts have been deleted. What a mess, but either way instead of sticking by what was said, the PR withdrew from public view.

I suppose there must be a reason for not sticking to your guns?

Just barely an hour in this thread has received over half a thousand responses... passed midnight here. Amazing.

Fair enough. At this time I have no plans on purchasing any Bioware/EA products.

I'm thinking that might also be a bot just like the twitter. It's almost midnight in North America... doubt anyone is running that thing this late.

I'm less interested in seeing enw endings, and more interested in seeing Casey Hudson and the writers/art designers weigh on as to why they chose the endings they did.

Hell, it won't even cost them more than a couple hours to write it out.

I think any hasty decisions would be unwise on their part. It might've been such that got them into this.

yup same, they don't have to have any plans, I don't have to have plans to let up pressure or buy anything with a bioware, or more over EA logo on it.

they also need time to assess things, and see if they can get PR to shake us off, etc etc...Nobody really expects anything soon

I don't think this is really anything new. They've never yet said they are doing anything about it, just that they are listening to us and are open to the idea of collaboration (as far as Casey's letter mentioned)

We've been told they are going to listen to the community's feedback first and then decide on a course of action. I think ultimately they will pick one of the endings and say it is 'canon' and go from there with DLC.

My bet: Destroy-Ending Epilogue DLC.

Well then, guess Bioware's off my buy list for some time.

Of course, it's *their* choice.

Well, there go any plans to invest in Bioware products, both emotionally and monetarily.

It's probably outsourced to a third party, who have a sheet on what they can answer, and what to report back to Bioware.

Well at least they said it.

Have a nice time fading into obscurity, Bioware; I'm not staying on for the ride any longer.

I'll just keep on playing my KOTOR, ME1 and 2, DA:O and Baldur's Gate series and be nostalgic about the great company that once was and is no longer.

Its very typical and PR anyways in how they word it. When the game shipped they probably didn't intend to change the ending. I'm guessing they either A. Really did make their choice and are navigating it. Or B. Are in a lot of discussions discussing economic viability and pro/cons to changing the ending etc. To be fair its not something that would be analyzed in a week if they come to a decisive conclusion.

With that said, at the moment, I refuse to buy another Bioware game.

Then all I have to say is I hope all the dlcs they do make completely flop, they may as well just have said they don't care anything at all about the fans.

Way to listen to that "fan feedback"
