Let's all wait for an answer from the developers. The twitter person knows nothing.
But I'm not saying we should not respond back to the tweet.

Let's be civil

Let's ....... Hold the Line!

So long as there is no ending changing DLC, there will be no more irishScott money going towards anything Bioware. Never has a company screwed things over this bad when they had it so easy...

Heh I personally think that those comments just pissed people off even more.

Saw it got deleted. That's pretty badass.

It's been almost two weeks now and I'm still flabbergasted. How could that hot garbage have gotten the green light from Bioware? I don't understand.

I'm sending them my résumé tomorrow for PR director. I'll cite that:

1) I know a few people who play Bioware games that don't work for Bioware
2) I know how to be human
3) I can't be any worse than what they have now

Dont forget to add that you wont slip and post something that will enrage a large portion of their customer base, and than try and delete it minutes later after its too late.

Fair enough. At this time I have no plans on purchasing any Bioware/EA products.

I could not agree with this more. :)

That's not a refusal, exactly. That's the situation as the twitter poster knows it at this point in time.

All it is, is a sign that we need to stand firm.

BTW, all this likely means is, due to the reaction here, they just won't answer any questions to do with the endings until they have an official statement.

Dude, get over yourself. We get it, you think any negative reaction is uncivil.

No, it's actually mostly civil.  I'm just pointing out that people are reading far too much into the statement since it's nothing new.  Litterally nothing new has been learned by them saying this.

Well, no, something new has been learned; they have no plans to change it. They hadn't admitted that yet, just that they were listening to feedback. Saying, "We're listening to feedback," going so far as to start a thread asking for alternative endings, says they have plans to change it, but no plans on what that content will be.

By saying, "We have no plans to change it" says, "95% of our fan base hates the ending? F**** 'em...but hey, if it hurts our pocket books then we'll 'listen'."

A Twitter/FB response isn't going to get me off the Line. Both Michael Gamble and Jessica Merizan have hinted that more is coming. the ME twitter feed also hinted more is coming. Granted they won't say WHAT is coming, but seeing as how it's been in response to the ending fiasco, it may be related to that. Either way, until Chris Priestly, Ray Muzyka or someone else in the upper tiers of Bioware's food chain make an announce ment I'll keep Holding the Line, and so should you.

Of coarse they have no plans at the moment, there hasn't been anywhere near enough time. But like any update, upgrade, etc. a new ending may show up in the future. Even if they don't create a new ending, it will not be the first time a great game company messed up on a game. It doesn't mean they can't still make great games in the future, especially if they learn from what happened this time around.

I'll most likely purchase Bioware games in the future, because they still have a better track record than most companies. But I'm no longer going to pre-order any of their games. Instead, I'm going to wait to check to see what other people say about them first.

As most people said, as long as they don't change the ending, or at least address the community properly, my wallet is closed to anymore Bioware or EA products.

Hold that damn line, people.

Up until now I was more than happy to give them the benefit of the doubt - but this seals it. Un-subbed from SWTOR. A veritable firestorm is raging around this issue and yet they still "have no plans" to address our concerns. Unbelievable.
