How can they have no plans? Do they think this will blow over at thsi stage? Because it wont at all. This has snowballed and it isn't stopping. It is the point of no return, they can't ignore this anymore.
Hey, it came from from the horses mouth... i wouldn't have believed it myself - but I saw it with my own two eyes.

It was just a bot. Its already been deleted. Bioware hasn't said anything yet and if that was a way to "test the waters" then they sure as hell found out the water's still hot.
Stay calm stay civil and remember that this is a "FIGHT" Meaning that if they have no plans to change it then you need to MAKE them change it. We're asking nicely, but we're not going anywhere if they just say No the first time.

The issue is this:
People need to stop treating BioWare as this great company that respects us. I know it's hard, because many of us have been fans of the company for a long time. We've loved and admired their work.
But at the end of the day, we are a consumer, and they are a business. This isn't about us not being happy with the ending. It's about us being promised a certain product, and not getting it when we purchased it - despite the fact that they advertised it as such. Stop treating this like they might kindly change it if we are nice enough, because their fan base didn't like the ending and they like to listen to us. And start focusing on us getting what was promised to us.
Journalists want to throw around "entitled". You know what? Damn right we are entitled to the product they advertised. The gaming industry for too long has had consumers that just roll over. That are willing to put up with developers making promises and lying. Why do they keep getting away with these bad business practices? Because most gamers don't do anything about it. They just accept that the game isn't the product that was promised, and move on. Stop paying these people your money. Stop supporting them when they wrong you.
Stand up for yourself.
They only exist because WE GIVE THEM our money. If you want them to change, stop giving them money when they screw you over.
Mass Effect :At this time we don't have any plans to change the ending but we are still listening to everyone's feedback on it.
US : At this time we don't have any plans to purchase your products/DLC(EA product included) but we are still listening to your lack of feedback on it
add this to your singature if only $ is what they understand then $ shall be how we win
this si my sig inspired by a great post from one of the suporter on facebook

"FEEDBACK LOUD ENOUGH YET?!"
No one has a Twitter account that can do this?

Someone want to start a new thread? (I think you can post on their wall a new thread). And then everyone just jump on there, and ask for an answer.

And it's like,
"There. Right there. That's where all broke loose."
Somebody at Bioware opened up the company twitter, saw that post, spit coffee all over the monitor, and went sprinting down the hallway in a panic, pulling all the fire alarms.

@[/s]masseffect[/b] I have to ask about the ending. It simply isn't in line with the usual BioWare quality. Were you guys rushed?[/b]Mass Effect[/b] @[/s]masseffect[/b]Close

No one is "packing it in" or backing down because of this comment. It's just the nail in the coffin for Bioware and that's all. Now they will loose all fan support for future DLC and future games because of this comment, and I for one can't wait to see their reaction when they realize just how much money they will lose because of this!
In 140 characters or less, Bioware has now just committed financial suicide!
Holding the line means keeping our money out of these greedy bastards hands until we get a genuinely descent ending. This facebook/twitter thing has only strengthened our resolved.
Once again, NO ONE is giving up! Quite the opposite, now Bioware is sure to feel the hurt from an even stronger DLC boycott.
Well said!!! Hold the line!!!

The way they worded it was done in a way that would likely anger many of us, given our state of minds on this matter, but it's likely the truth and not something anyone should be really upset about given that they likely haven't heard anything since last week. They deleted likely knowing they did more harm than good in telling the truth as they know it up to now. We are on here all weekend at all hours, they are not, especially not the developers who make those decisions.
As is, calm down, wait for more information during the week.
