Casey Hudson, or someone similar, needs to come out, and FLAT OUT lay it on the line. Either say "yes, we are working on releasing DLC that will expand the end of the game" or "Sorry guys, we are not making any DLC that involves the ending to Mass Effect 3".

No more weasel words, no more PR spin, no more BS.

Either yes, or no BIOWARE

This is what we should be aiming for people.

Think about it, this issue has gotten pretty big for Bioware. I seriously doubt they'd suddently state their opinion on a FACEBOOK response of all things. Plus look at the way it's worded, "at this time" this doesn't say it won't happen, it doesn't say they aren't considering it. It means that right now they don't have a concrete plan to offer ending DLC.

First off, we shouldn't care if they claim they are listening, that should be a given with any company that cares about its customers. Only ACTION can change this. If they take no action, its the same thing as not listening. And it shows that they really don't care about customers if that is the case.

@[/s]masseffect[/b] I have to ask about the ending. It simply isn't in line with the usual BioWare quality. Were you guys rushed?[/b]Mass Effect[/b] ‏ @[/s]masseffect[/b]Close

Jo.

I hate having a twitter account because it encourages all of my 'friends' to pester me about it. They already have my cellphone but I apparently need a mySpace page, a Facebook page, a Twitter account, and a live feed up my a** so they know what I'm doing, when, how, and why.

But I can't shake the feeling that they seem to be downplaying people asking about the endings far too much. As you guys noted, they deleted their mention of it in their Twitter and examining their account you rarely see what's being said to them, just their replies (unless you have a configuration I didn't have on default).

So yah, I asked. Hopefully it didn't seem, too Trollish but it was a legitimate question that I've been dying to hear the answer to.

Hold the Line and for those of you despairing, let it strengthen your resolve to keep this movement alive. Overnight victories are improbable, overnight defeats are easy.

I wonder if they will actually close THIS thread for having the images of the threads that were deleted on FB and tweeter.

The tweet was deleted. Either it was put up way too early, or wasn't supposed to go up at all. I'll worry about it in the morning. Until then...HOLD THE LINE!

Someone misspoke on our Mass Effect channel. We're still gathering feedback to create content that keeps it in mind. Thx 4 understanding :)

I honestly don't even believe anything they say anymore.

LOL should ask her why they are deleting any posts even on Facebook if the images arent shown and refer to what they stated without any comment? Wow someone better get a resume out and fast.

This is what I'm saying.

At this point we have no reason to believe they are "listening" or actually gathering feedback. If we just sit back and wait for months to go by while they "gather" feedback, they will hope we go away.

We should continue to boycott all their products and DLC, and continue making our voices loud and clear. Keep putting on the pressure.

If only we could get a pic of the persons face. We'd have a new meme. World Record for people simultaneously shouting expletives in one office at one time.

i honestly don't think they have any intention of fixing the ending.seems that they are keeping quiet while the first couple of weeks of sales have passed.if they came out now and were seen to be sticking a finger up at the fans and saying "thats the ending,we don't listen, eat it",then it would be bad PR for them and may hurt their sales hence it was immediately deleted.it could have been a bot but thats for what its worth thats my take.

For the record, I wasn't saying people should rage out or act disrespectful. I'm just warning people to stop rolling over, and focus on why we are upset. And too get loud if it requires it. Our voices will not be drowned out.

This and remember people, if they will delete those posts in such an "oh crap" manner it is obviously not an official statement! Someone dun goofed! We made them retreat with the under staffed over night guard. We're good. :D

Not giving in, you will not see a penny from me if you don't fix the ending, if you do I promise right now to buy every DLC you put out for ME3.

Need someone to ask why the "mistake" got through their filters twice.  Once on Facebook, once on Twitter.

They deleted the posts because as it has been said in that other big thread, they are in full lockdown/PR mode. making statements like these only serves to further infuriate the fans and alienate them further. Saying anything short of, "Yes, we are currently working on the endings with your feedback", is just going to send the fans into a greater fury with even more passion to just keep fighting.

As Knight Terror said, the continued usage of PR tactics is only serving to continue alienating and infuriating the fanbase because they are feeling like they are being treated like fools at this point, thus causing the "battle cry" to get louder and louder on here and every other medium that the endings are being mentioned. Anyone defending Bioware and endings is "under attack" now. IGN made a poll and currently over 5,500 who don't like the ending compared to under 1,000 for those who liked the ending, which leaves IGN looking like fools for posting a video that criticizes those who did not like the ending by calling them an entitled minority.

Aren't these people SUPPOSED to be professionals? Misspeaking in a situation as toxic as this is like throwing a grenade on a mine.

Good god. I'm sick of being thrown around by Bioware "officials".

At this point I won't accept a simple cutscene that adds to the ending. I want an entirely new ending that MAKES ****ING SENSE and doesn't BUTCHER CANON! And on top of that, I want an ending that delivers what they promised: wildly divergent endings depending on your choices throughout the series and closure for all the stories and relationships we've been building for 5 years.

EA/Bioware: Mass Effect 3 sold enormously well, the vocal minority that claims despondency over the grim endings and abandonment of customer satisfaction comprises such a small percentage of customers, that the margin of new gamers overcomes the potential loss of "diehard happy ending gamers" to the point that any further investment to appease this vocal minority could detract from much more interesting and exciting downloaded content that the community can broadly enjoy and purchase gleefully.
