What was said is still a cryptic message. At this time. meaning as it is right now, or as it was last week we were not going to change the ending, but It doesn't mean the future, and it doesn't mean that they just can't tell us yet.

Keep holding the line.. That was just some minor intern who runs the facebook page. Wait until Casey Hudson comes out and says if they are going to change it or not.

Its a war of attrition they are going for. The only real hope for a changed ending is if the DLC and multiplayer absolutely tank. If they sell fairly well for its not going to happen.

well maybe they are not going to change the ending because that rumor about the DLC "The Truth" is the rest of the ending, so they can say they wont change it since they already had plans for the grand finale anyway. No? or possibility?

^This.  Remember folks, this game has only been out for 12 days (seems like a lot longer, amirite?), with probably only 9-10 of those days facing real backlash about the ending (European gamers finished a few days ago and Asian players are probably only finishing today).  Bioware is going to need time to assess the situation, but I don't think they would have stickied a "suggested changes" thread in this forum if they weren't at least open to the idea of making some revisions.

12 days is nothing in a PR situation like this - they are probably in it for the long haul, or at least until Q1 wraps up at the end of this month.  If we're going to make this happen, we're going to have to stay present and vocal for weeks, maybe even months before we get what we want.  If you're serious about getting a worthy resolution the greatest sci-fi epic of our generation, you're going to have to be willing to commit to that.

I think they just told us their actual tactic. Sit back, not meet our demands, but rather try to please us by being attentive (or appearing attentive) and giving us "other" content that they will pretend is just as good in another way.

Gonna keep spamming this because some people are over-reacting - we knew when they released the game there was no ending DLC planned, and we knew or know that they're thinking about maybe listening to us and making some ending DLC. This statement was about "The Truth" DLC rumor, that's all. Nothing has changed, they make a point of saying they're considering their alternatives. This is not a definite Yes or No - yet. Hold the Line.
