In my opinion Diana Allers is a cosmetic character as well as James Vega. I like them both, but they are cosmetic characters. They don't add or change anything in the game. Javik on the other hand is not cosmetic. He's very important for the story. I feel so sorry for people who miss out on him.

I gotta say your poll choices are horrible, I would not say she was terrible but she was not great either. We had reporters that they could have used and chose not too, however she wasn't that bad. If a bit forgettable simply because she was in the bottom of the ship.

The whole embedded journalist idea was a good one, it was just totally underused (like you get to answer one question and then you fade to black and it's over). I would agree that the voice actress wasn't particularly good compared with the rest of the cast.

This. I was a journalism major for my first semester of college (switched to English), but I still read about the field. You have no idea the extent to which the media influence people's perception of events, and for something like rallying the galaxy together, having the media onboard would be crucial. That said, I couldn't take her seriously as a journalist in that getup. Put on a bloody pantsuit for chrissake.

but I still think Miranda should have been there instead of her,Liara took over her office, but Shepard could have found a new place for her

Can't Vote for any option. I know who she is and recruited her. I didn't mind the role, her look was a bit "ugh" and VA didn't grate as much as I thought it would but I still would have prefered a previously established character there.

Still was fun walking in the room making her think I was going to kick her off.

They should of had her voice a VI who was being used as a front line reporter/camera. Would make more sense.

God, no. She added absolutely *nothing* of value to Dragon Age 2. It would've been the same for ME3.
