Personally I was okay with her. However it would have been nice if she was a more fleshed out character. Personally she was barely a cameo but if they had given her a background story it would have worked better. I have heard her give reports before on IGN so her delivery didn't bother me.

I thought she was an interesting addition, but I'd rather have had an old or new squadmate to fight beside me.

Also, I'm not an IGN fan at all.

I had never heard of her. Then when I watched Angry Joe's review and the word "IGN" came up along with her name. I cant go back to blissful ignorance, what is seen cannot be unseen. Now when I see her in game the words "shamless marketing" rightly or wrongly spring to mind, especially with all the fan bashing IGN is into these days. Brings back to mind the whole Kane and Lynch/Gamespot debacle.

The concept of a war journalist was great, but I wanted Emily Wong.
Allers is a space **** and annoying as ****, what did they think when they dressed her like that?

But right, I could easily live with her (just never recruit her, har har), but I won't be playing ME3 again anyway (until they fix it), so meh.

She got Zaeed's old room, which is itself a disgrace, compared to how he got treated. 

She took up VO time that could have been spent on another romance.  And face-modeling that could have been used on Tali. 
 
Finally, her character was a blatant suck-up to IGN.  

Could you imagine Baldur's Gate with such a character?  Or Kotor?  Jade Empire?  DAO? 

Or Mass Effect I ?

The concept of a war journalist on the Normandy was a good idea on paper, but it was poorly executed. The plainly obvious mistakes were hiring someone with no voice acting experience, and modelling the character's appearance after said voice acting amateur.

As far as her role, eh. I'll have her on the Normandy, since we need all the support for the war we can get, though her insistence is at times... irritating. But, it's for the greater good, and so I'll put on my shades and deal with it.

Plus I'm a fan of Generation Kill and Ace Combat 5, so having an embedded reporter with the team seemed like a cool shout out to those.

No offense, she was only worth 5 assest points.  Not worth the irritation.  But at least she was available for Shepard's pleasure.  She was definately enBEDded in my game.   The was dropped off at the citadel

Did you guys see her face and droopy chest? Not droopy breasts she had a LONG area between her neck and endowments. If you're going to make bland bs dialogue at lease make her hot.

Tali is my fav LI because her dialogue is fleshed out well. Liara is a close second.

Diana Allers isn't the best looking npc in Mass Effect 3. Plus Chobot looked out of place in my opinion.

Seriously, if you turn her down even Shepard makes fun of how...stupid the idea is.

Such a lame ploy. Did BioWare really expect us to go "Well, she's kinda attractive, I guess I'll buy this game"? IMHO, she's not even that good looking. I knew many much hotter girls in high school and college, and they didn't just try to leverage their looks to make ends meet.
