Why won't Dragon Age connect to the servers? This is so annoying. I'm having no problems with Xbox Live in any other game. Everything else works fine but for some reason it keeps saying 'serves are temporary unavailable'.

I've cleared my cache but there really isn't anything else I can do on my end with the xbox, why is this happening?

I want to enter my code for the blood armor and shale character.

Most likely it's because you have promotional items from DA:J unlocks or pre-order bonuses. As detailed in another thread, the data for those items were bundled together but the authorizations were not, so you only got offline authorization for the items that you downloaded directly. I agree that it's a crappy experience for the user, even though I (now) understand why it's happening. It's not obvious what's going on, and the current workaround is pretty convoluted.

Example: You are entitled to all three unlocks from DA:J (helmet, belt, necklace). You download the helmet from the content manager. You wind up with the data for all three items, but you only get the authorization for the helmet because that's what you selected. The content manager marks all three items as downloaded since you now have the data. When you start the game, it has to connect to the DA servers to authorize your use of the belt and necklace.

You can delete all your DLC and redownload a seperate item from the packet and repeat until all the item from the pack apper in your download history on the dashboard.

I just bought this game today and am having the same problem. i cant connect to the servers, hense i cant download my DLC that came with the game when i bought it

I think the servers are down. I haven't been able to connect during start up for days.

I am connecting fine where I am(California)....I guess it depends on the country and region? I don't know.

connecting fine this morning, tho everytime i tried to enter the code for my DLC, it said it was wrong. When id exit out of entering the code, it said i had purchased the dlc (finally!). when i went to DL it i had to stay on the screen that i started the DL on for it to finish, b/c when i would leave that screen it would stop the DL, and it wouldnt show up on the active downloads screen. Thankfully both downloaded fine and can be used (once i meet req's for one).
