To be fair to Bioware, this DID happen Sunday night. I wouldn't expect any sort of response from them officially until later today.
It's monday in Europe and I think they have people who can fix or give info about things all over the world! In real life the Reapers have not cut the connections... no good excuse to me

The same thing happened to me last night (<12 hrs ago). I was playing my Turian Sentinel and finished a silver match against reapers and god-damn if I didn't get a single credit. I swear the credits showed up for a second, but then they were gone. I still got experience, but no credits. It was a real bummer because it is not easy to beat those reapers all the way through to extraction with a random bunch of people, and we all worked so hard to get there. I'm not sure if the others had the same problem.
And just to make things clear, I didn't purchase anything. The credits were there right after the game was over and then when I went into the store screen the credits were gone. Some people have actually been purchasing items and not realizing they have done so because there is no confirmation. This is not what happened to me. Just to clarify.

Try spending MSP and having everything you buy just disappear... I feel for you though. I wonder if there is anyway to track how much credits you earned/lost so they can you reimburse you guys. Even a free pack would suffice for everyone who suffered at least IMO. Ugh, I love the game but there's so many bugs and glitches that get in the way...
For anyone who used MP to buy packs, and did not receive them, I reccomend that you find your purchase history as a first step to see if it even shows up.
Your purchase history can be found on xbox.com under your profle, then "My Account" under your avatar, and finaly "Purchase History" under the Marketplace History section on the page.
I don't know if this will 100% be useful, but it is a step toward proof of purchase. At the very least it could give some insight into whether or not Xbox Live acknowledged the purchase at all during the transaction. I understand that in either case it still deducted MP points.

Did this happen last night, or recently today?CPU Hero wrote...
This happened to me as well, 2 gold runs in a row. 145k credits down the drain. Happened to another member of our group as well.
I haven't had the chance to play today to see if it is still happening.

Nice theory except...AlexMBrennan wrote...
It's a known bug that won't be fixed because they want you to spend real world cash instead.
1. It would do the opposite by demotivating people from playing in general
2. People have been reprorting loosing MP from presumably the same bug.
I know you weren't being serious, but lets keep this thread constructive.

I accessed the store once more the following morning to see if the error was still present. It has seemed it has resolved itself, but I am unfortunately shying away from ME3's MP('Killing Me Softly" plays in the background) experience until this problem is fully abolished and some sort of compensation is given to the community for all that wasted effort! :'-[

I contacted the help centre with the issue and received this response:
"Hello,
Thank you for Contacting Electronic Arts.
Please note that the credites[sic] and stats are generated by server and we do not have any access to make any changes or increase it from our end.
Please have patience and it will show correctly automatically after some time.
Should you have any further questions, please take a moment to review our Knowledge Base site at http://help.ea.com or do let us know.
Sincerely,
Kapil

Sounds like total BS to me, but maybe if enough people complain they'll actually come around to doing something about it.

During a certain period of time last night, (approximately 12 am US Eastern time until roughly 1:30 am US Eastern) the Mass Effect 3 connection servers were offline. New players were unable to log in, and players already in games during that period were not able to update their information on the main servers. This resulted in credits not being updated properly, characters not promoting, and other similar issues.
I believe the root cause was that the server was updating as part of concluding the "Great Big Brute Hunt".

Same issue here. Played two silvers in a row. Both times, I earned the credits but as soon as I enetered the store (BEFORE trying to purchase anything) they disappeared. One of my party members had the same issue, but the other two didn't.

The response is very valid. No enterprise company is going to give its customer support team access to servers that could potentially bring down an entire multiplayer section of a game. As for it fixing it's self I haven't had it fixed yet and honestly don't think its just gonna do that.
On a side note they have already announced they are addressing more bugs (possibly including this one) in the next patch.
