Assuming that the "ending" was actually Shepard being indoctrinated

If you assume that the ending (and I sure as hell hope this is true) is just the Reapers tryig to indoctrinate Shepard, and that more will come after, does it make you want to/made you change what option you picked? If so, you may wish to consider this: a lot of people have said that control is for Paragons, because of the blue light, destruction is for Renegades, because of the red, and synthesis is a weird third option, just to be a weird third option. But this is pretty much bull.
Shepard's been saying since Eden Prime, the only good Reaper is a dead Reaper, and the various bad guys have been saying that they're strong enough to control them. And now because a holo-child says otherwise, it's supposed to be the other way around? I think it makes more sense to consider that it's just more of the Reapers trying to indoctrinate Shepard: if Shepard tries to control them, (s)he is like the Illusive Man; just a new pawn. If Shepard chooses synthesis, then (s)he is more like Saren; not a pawn, but just an organic extension of synthetic selves. But if Shepard goes against what the game says is "good" and sticks to his/her guns and chooses to destroy the Reapers, than the Reapers have failed to indoctrinate him/her, which is why (if you've got the war assests) Shepard wakes up back in London.
As it stands right now, it's pretty much a moot point; until a DLC comes out that actually makes the ending worthwhile, it doesn't really matter. But, just in case there is more, I've gone ahead and given my Paragon Shepard the "Renegade" option, and vice versa. You might consider doing the same.
