Good evening, Retakers. I wanted to say I'm proud of serving with you all.

Does it feel like we're struggling against a brick wall? I think it does, sometimes. But take a step back and look around. It's been less than two weeks from the American release of ME3, and already we have a voice. Already we've fought our way through bad press to find allies there, we've slogged through PR speak and held our ground, we've taken our frustration and used it to brighten the day of countless children. But I think we can all agree that the journey is far from over. And sometimes, that brick wall stands much too tall.

So, I think it's time for some perspective. To remind ourselves what we're fighting for. In the words of an old, beloved salarian friend:

For this fight, want personal connection. Can't anthropomorphize galaxy. But can think of favorite nephew. Fighting for him.

Retakers. What's your personal connection? What are you fighting for? What does this universe mean to you that will make you fight tooth and nail to save it?

To honor Shepard, Garrus, Liara and the other character.

To make sure they get the ending they deserve!

Because the ending of Mass Effect 3 ruined the series for me. Stole the magic from the series and did the exact opposite of what the fans wanted it to do.

An ending that really makes all my Shep's sacrifices worth it.

I'm not. I'm totally indifferent on the issue. I don't really mind the endings but I'd still take new ones.

For the art. Mass Effect deserves better and I know Bioware can do better.

I'm not part of a movement. Only here to continuously voice my opinion against Bioware, but I want to be completely responsible for my own action, and not hiding behind a mass of like-minded people and forsake that.

I'm an existentialist I suppose.

I've spent over 1000 hours with this series and was quite put out that there was no real need to take more than 2 of my 12 characters through ME3 as once you've done a Paragon and Renegade run through there isn't a whole lot more to see. All the other choices with my other characters do very little. Just love interests really.

To let the game development world, know that people that didn't learn basic story telling in 8th grade probably shouldn't be designing multi-million dollar franchise story lines.

When you can't follow basic story rules that make stories enjoyable you have no business being paid for it.

I wish to have an ending fitting of the Mass Effect franchise; to show my decisions made to their fullest effect in shaping the universe.

Sir Conan revived Sherlock Holmes after the "Hold the line" campaign in his time.
This is the Sherlock Holmes for us.

This.

ME has been by far the best ride I've had in a video game series. The ending did not befit this series. The ending we got was a copy/paste sequence from a 12 year old game reskinned for ME3 except it all led to literally the same ending CG sequence. It didn't fit the game, it felt like it was written for a totally different game by a totally different team (which...it was really) and hamfisted in at the last second for some inexplicable reason. On top of that, there's no epilogue, no "what happened to everyone", nothing. No closure, no wrap-up, nada.

I want to go back to having nothing but fond memories of the ME series and feeling good about replaying through the entire trilogy, rather than sitting there thinking "ugh, that ending just takes out all desire to try it again".

This game deserved better.

Holding.

Mine is actully real simple.

I dont care Bioware has destroyed its own universe, thats cool, I dont care sheperd can choose red, green or blue.

I want to see my war assets at work, the mercs, the volus bombers the baterian fleet, i want to see endings for all of my crewmates, even if its just a cutscene of them all being horribly killed and stamped on by harbinger, I just need to see it!

*sigh* I just want everything my beautiful Shepard fought so hard for to make some goddamn sense. As of now, her sacrifice seems to be in vain and that breaks my heart more than anything else.

Because Mass Effect is worth it. This isn't the newest Call of Duty or Battlefield. This is a series that means more than just killing your friends online, or talking trash with some kid in Alabama. We've spent five years building relationships with Garrus, Tali, Liara, Wrex.... and I'll be damned if it ends like this.

That is why I'm holding the line. And that is why so many of us care

I am fighting for the content I was told I was buying in the first place and so my copy of ME3 does not become a $80 paper weight.  Look once a company lies to me I stop buying from them so I am not going to buy any more Bioware or EA products even if they come out and say no new ending I am just letting them know they I will come back if they make this right.  Also it has only been a week these things take time,if we don't give up just because Bioware is feeding us spin right now I know we will win.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

This universe means something special that I can't quite voice but Shepard is this person I have forged, this amazingly resilient woman who fights no matter what. Her teammates are these people I care about deeply and it's almost in her spirit that I can't let them down. I won't and so I hold the line.

I'm holding the line for satisfying endings that fill what for me was an empty one.

I'm holding the line for satisfying endings of my friends and family who I've got to invest in the series so they can experience it in all of its potential.

I'm holding the line for all of us who are being calm civil and reasonable who are discontented with what we ended up with and want it fixed.

And I guess in some way, I'm holding the line for Bioware, hoping that they come to realize that how this all went down was a mistake, and maybe at the end of the day take a hard look in the mirror and evaluate how we got here.

Maybe that last one is a foolish hope, but it's something to hope after all of this someone hopes it.

(Note: I'm under no delusions these endings we got were not the planned endings)

OCD and boredom... as well as a strong desire to see the Mass Effect series regarded as the epic sci-fi trilogy of video games rather than as a disappointment.

Hold the line!
