He's straight but I doubt he's a zero on the kinsey scale if you know what I mean. He's one of those work-out obsessed straight guys that loves being watched by anyone, dudes included.

As far as lack of interest for femshep, the Alliance has fraternization regs. They didn't matter for the VS because in ME1, you were going to get court-martialed anyway, in ME2, Shep wasn't in the alliance anymore due to being KIA, and in ME3 you're both Spectres and thus outside of their jurisdiction. None of the above apply to Vega.
