I expected a closure for the prothean vision you unlock with the Consort´s pressent. It was supposedly a flag carried from ME1 that never got developed.

Yes! And the Prothean sphere you got in the second game that just hung out in your cabin....

I was hoping to discover Okeers purpose behind building Grunt. I suspected there was some subliminal imprint waiting to trigger. But if there was we never saw it.

I always wondered this too. That and the fact he was built using Reaper/Collector Tech and also his armor is reminisint of a Harvester.

Has it ever been mentioned, anywhere, how Ashely/Kaidan was released from the stasis effect of the Seeker's Swarms on Horizon? ME2 clearly shows how s/he got stung but then s/he just walks up to meet Shepard (and it's never even mentioned). Or did I completely miss something? ^^;

Inability to air-quote the Turian councilor.

"Ah Yes, Reapers" just as you are watching the Reapers beat up on Palaven.

QFT

-Dark energy issues causing stars to die early
-The Prothean artifact sphere-thing that just sat on your table in your cabin for no apparent reason
-More Lazarus project details (it personally interests me)

Well, they kinda did, really, by exploring Prothean intervention on lesser cultures. The vision was validated in this way.

Shepard's past: This could have been worked into the game in many ways. Everybody who chose Spacer wants to see Shep's mom, sure, but there are more options than just that. Colonist: Perhaps if you killed or didn't encounter Baltak, there would be the option of it being the Batarian who attacked your colony. Earther: I would have thought it would have been rather cool if, when you come back to Earth, you would have been approached by a member of the resistance... who turns out to be a member of your old gang. Depending on your actions in the previous games, s/he would respond to you in different ways. Spacer: Another option is to run into Zabaleta on the Citadel, and see if how you handled him has changed his life. Maybe even (gasp!) learned about Shep's father. And that's just Shep's childhood -- the service could also have different links. But I've rambled enough about this.

Planet Scans: From crazy volus to planetary supercomputers, both 1 and 2 had plenty of interesting tidbits and mysteries when you entered orbit around planets. I would have loved to have seen more of those come back in 3. As a little reward for those of us who looked at every. Single. Planet.

ME1 sidequests: Shucks howdy were there a ton of them! A boatload. Many of them could have been used as a launching point for even short sidequests, like Zhu's Hope in ME2. Or even just an acknowledgement of them, like Fist of Helena Blake in 2.

MORE RADIO GOODNESS: I don't mean in your quarters (though that music selection was less than impressing for some reason). I mean, like Blasto. It was great listening to that, but now I'm curious about other forms of entertainment out there. Maybe not getting to listen to one of Francis Kitt's productions, but see what else we can encounter. Maybe hear some raloi music. Maybe snippets of volus shows. Who knows? Bioware, don't make me start writing screenplays for radio dramas. Or studying Romanian and Russian so I can write lyrics to Quarian operas! Or... Oh, no. Before you know it, I'll have As Palavan Turns with a bajillion followers forcing me to cry myself to sleep. You don't want that, do you Bioware? Do you? ...crud.

SHEPARD'S APARTMENT. I WANT MY APARTMENT BACK. I WANT TO DECORATE IT WITH THROW RUGS AND PAINTINGS AND MAYBE A NICE ASARI VASE AND A PET FLEEPA TO CUDDLE UP WITH WHEN I SLEEP AND AND AND oh fiddlesticks i think i hear the men with their nice white coats coming

How about the Raloi? or the Lysenthi Salarians? I mean, don't mention two races, then never show or allude to them again.

I'm not being creepy about this, but for me one of the biggest things that just weren't explored in Mass Effect were the alien races in all their detail.
I would have loved more gameplay around the Krogan women considering how special they are.
Also, we never see alien children. Heck, apparently there's only one HUMAN CHILD in the entire galaxy too.

I think the Hanar and Drell would have been interesting to visit on their homeworld too.

And finally (this is the creepy bit) I wanted to know what most of the aliens looked like without their clothes or armor on. Seriously! All we get are giant Krogan faces, the Volus as fat men in gimp suits and the Turians pointy heads.

Is it just me?

This, so much this.

I mean, when you add that one to the one you got in the Firewalker mission, just felt so... unused.

The lack of turian females was very distressing for me, considering they are viewed as equals in their society. :<

While not necessarily a plot point from ME2, I still kinda wondered how Cerberus got the Human Reaper from the Collector Base if I blew it up...

My sole survivor shepard needs to meet Corp. Toombs and come to terms with TIM about Akuze!

That one! Even though my Shepard knows that Cerberus is responsible for the death of all his squad he doesn't seem to care much. That could have turned into some pretty interesting secondary missions.

And the Rachni. I love them! They are by far the most "alien" species in the galaxy. Krogan, Salarian, Turian etc have very interesting storys and are well developed but they are really much like humans in how they act, think or feel but the Rachnis are completely different: They are a swarm connected to one hive mind they're like the Tiranids of W40K or like the Aliens from the "Aliens" movies. I also love how they always turn everything into "music". They are by far the most interesting species in the galaxy and the one which estimulates my imagination and curiosity. All this IMO of course.

At the monastery in ME3 I was highly disappointed that I didn't find out what happens when two ardat-yakshi have sex with each other.

The Raloi severed all ties with the Council and destroyed all advanced technology that they had received, hoping that the Reapers would then pass over them, thinking they were a pre-spaceflight civilization.

Not sure how well that worked out for them.

In the first game we learn the Reapers use the Citadel to shut down the entire relay network when they begin an invasion. I always wondered how in ME3 we'd be able to travel or if the Reapers just can't get to the Citadel. In the third game this concept isn't brought up, it's even ignored to the point where their storyline doesn't make sense. If the Reapers can take the Citadel all the way to Sol to protect it, why can't they just use it to shut down the relays so the Crucible and the fleets can't get there in the first place?

The Keepers and their mad building skills?

Idk if I missed something, but everytime I heard any mention of them it was like "Oh, well you know, those Keepers." Or "Blame it on The Keepers."

Is it ever fully mentioned what they actually are, where they come from, or even how/why they even self destruct when an individual tries to touch/extract knowledge from/manipulate them?

It was also mentioned by Anderson in 2 that when ever they tried to repair Sovereign's damage The Keepers would tear down the manual fixes and shore it up like new. Where are they getting these resources? How is it done so fast? Wtf is up with the backpacks?

Hannah ****ing Shepard.

I made my most recent playthrough a Spacer just to see an emotional moment between mother and daughter as the world was coming to an end. And I got nothing.

Such a missed opportunity for a few simple lines of dialogue to bring a tear to the player's eye.

All we got was a line from Garrus and a line from Hackett. Why didn't they allow me to talk to her on the little holo thing at the end like they did for my squadmates?
